Cloud8745 plays "I wanna be the guy". It's hilarious but its almost frustrating to watch in some places. I have played mods for games similar to this and i can sympathize with how he is feeling especially the famed Mario mod. I've also heard of a number of ridiculous Doom mods.
Have any of you played this or any ridiculously hard mods?

IWBTG is overdone. The only real entertainment in it is watching people who don't know about it play for the first time blind (I've seen some hilarious breakdowns). But once you know the game, it's just yawn.
I've seen a video of it being beat on Impossible difficulty.
Dude, that is my favorite LP of all time. I watched that a whole day and loved every minute of it.

I don't know what the name of this hack is, but it's from the same guy behind the Kaizo Mario mods.
I'd say it's harder than the Mario mods or IWBTG, because it's incredibly easy to keep the wrong attacks
or mess up who you give XP to (no wild Pokemon) and make the Elite Four unbeatable, and save states can't help you avoid that.
The last few battles force you to fight lvl 100 Pokemons with lvl 40-50 Pokemons.

Not really sure what you're talking about, but if you mean those comments scrolling in the video, you can just turn them off.
Or, can you even see the videos? Nicovideo has that incredibly stupid rule requiring you to sign up, but I don't know if that applies to embedded videos too.

Finding the hidden items in IWBTG was definately fun. I wish there were some sort of "updated every week with new rooms" IWBTG game...
Iwannabetheguy is not a game. It's an experiment, and a stupid one at that.
However there are a ton of ridiculously hard super mario bros. 3 mods, But naturally I'm going to post a video the most offensive one I could find
