A> Maybe the 1st one didn't sell well enough to justify the cost of localizing the 2nd one.
B> Maybe they don't have the rights or can't get the rights from the developer.

You're very bad at gathering, if you think it's already been released in Japan. The very wiki page you linked to specifically says it hasn't been released in Japan yet, that it's scheduled for a 2009 release. No place I check even has a specific release date yet, they all say it's TBA. It kind of has to actually be released there first before anyone, Atlus or otherwise, can even think about picking it up for American release.

Personally, I want Atlus to make a remake of Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals. That, or a new Lufia game that DOESN'T suck (I'm looking at you, The Legend Returns and Ruins of Lore!)

I hope they release it stateside. I love the first one with a passion, the only downside being the bitchy female lead and her crappy taste in music. I love the overall feel of the first one and I'd really like to see future installments. It might actually give me enough incentive to buy one of the new systems.

They're too busy seeing how many different versions of Persona 3 they can release.

They released two. Two versions. Was that too bloody hard to count?

Well, it'll be 3 with the PSP remake. I was joking though, I love Atlus.
