OK the way to do this is first hot, then turn the temp extra cold, then hot, then cold. Repeat as desired. This actually helps get the blood circulating and is quite refreshing much like rolling in the snow and jumping in a hot tub.

Sorta like this.

I like a warm/hot shower, however at the very end, perhaps the last 30 seconds or so of the shower, I like to turn the water to a much cooler temperature.

Otherwise I seem to get too sweaty upon getting out of the shower, the fucking bathroom is already steamed up enough.

Upon thinking more, once in a while after working out if it was really, really hot I would start with a cool-temperate shower, but once my body had cooled off a bit I would turn the heat up since I can't feel clean with cold water.

Have another showerhead installed, set one to hot and the other to cold.

I've been taking cool showers lately, because my body is like a human heat pump. Whenever I take a hot shower, the bathroom feels so muggy , and I feel so exhausted.

While I love cold weather, being cold and dry and cold and wet are two completely different things. I loathe cold showers, I always feel somewhat ill after them. I suppose after an incredibly hot day I'd take a cool shower, but never a cold one. Hot showers FTW; I love the way the steam feels on my skin, and it gets tension out (insert shot of naked River City Ransom dude rubbing a towel across his back). Come to think of it, I still prefer to take hot showers on a hot day; cold showers don't make me feel like I'm really getting off the sweaty sliminess of a hot day.

I only take a cold shower if its a really hot day and I have a fever. Otherwise, even in 100+ degree weather bring on the steam.

not even taking an ice cold bubble bath?

For me, I would say that an ice cold bath would be better. It is the cold breeze and chilling constant temperature changes on random parts of your body that make a cold shower so unbearable. You can get used to a cold bath (and die of hypothermia, quicker).

I take hot showers even if I'm boiling, or feverish.

I tried a cold shower once on a summer morning. I was extremely tired and thought the cold may help wake me up. Never again.

Also, equally as uncomfortable as cold showers are low-flow showers. I cannot stand showering at somebody else's house and they have a low flow shower. I want the pressure to almost hurt when i take a shower, and no retarded massage settings either. Every time i use a shower with different settings i just use the spray an even stream at me one because the other ones are retarded and uncomfortable. I guess they are probably more for women.
