I stumbled across this AWESOME, AWESOME video clip on youtube. It's Earthbound's first town Onett completely rendered in 3D. It brings back fond memories of when I used to sit down and put countless hours into this game.
Apparently, this same guy has done several other towns from Earthbound in full 3D. It's pretty amazing.

This looks... Meh. It had potential. It looks like something out of a Nintendo DS game, but not a good one. The textures are ripped straight out of the game, so I can't comment much on them. In some cases, they look nice, but in others, meh.
The trees... Look awful. Also, the backgrounds and the cliffs.
I now bestow upon you the title of Most Awesome Person.

When you consider that some guy did this on his computer its surprisingly decent, the trees could've been better, but its a step in the right direction.

I also really dug the score. It's apparently from the Earthbound Orchestra album, or something in that manner.

Yeah I forgot to mention that, I love the EarthBound soundtrack like nothing else, barring FF6, and amongst the other 500 billion songs on my Zune is both the EarthBound OST and Bound Together, one of the best remix soundtracks ever.
