Obama doesn't have the whitest rap sheet, being assumed of opressing our country and attempting to start a New World Order, but how is it possible for anyone to even confirm the intentions of the world's elite? I'm watching The Obama Deception partly to laugh at the bullshit it spews and partly to justify Obama's assassination. While I watch, I thought I'd ask how people feel about the rumors surrounding Obama.

I fucking hate it. I was a Bush supporter and it bugged the hell out of me how many stupid rumors, conspiracy theories and lies were made up about the guy. I didn't vote for Obama, but to see the exact same bull shit about him is just annoying and counter productive to anything. I wish people would just accept who gets voted in whether or not they agree with them politically and work toward improving the country instead of making up some stupid bull shit.
EDIT: That's not meant to be an attack at you for posting that Aqua, you even say that video spews bull shit. It's more for the people who actually create and believe stuff like this and Zeitgeist.

Personally, I'm having trouble interpeting the rumors about Obama. Part of me thinks this is just bullshit made by some neckbeard, and another part of me wants to break into the White House and shoot Obama in the head to prevent global slavery.

Oh come on, I didn't vote for the guy, nor do i agree with most of Obama's positions on major issues, but most of the crap that stems from Alex Jones' head is paranoid bullshit, even way back during the Clinton Administration he was warning people that UN troops were hiding in our national parks waiting to take over and appoint Clinton supreme dictator or something along those lines, While not all of what he says is baseless crap, MOST of it is, Alex Jones is a super nutjob piece of shit who panders to the lowest common denominator with this, "the sky is falling" BS. He makes everyone who didn't vote for Obama, (even for reasons that are not batshit insane), look bad.
EDIT: Missed SH's post...I concur
I have yet to hear a conspiracy theorist who doesn't make me believe they should be wearing a tinfoil hat. Buncha wingnuts, if you ask me.
EDIT: Thirding SH's post, though I did vote for Obama.

I'm not old enough to vote, but someday I will. People seriously need to take their tinfoil hats off about this shit, it's driving me crazy.

Stop knocking tinfoil hats, they do have their uses, and look quite fetching with a fine layer of one's own filth smeared across the face.

I never realized that people making assumptions was included on your rap sheet. I always thought a rap sheet only contained things for which you were tried and convicted in a court of law. I may really dislike Obama, but let's at least be sensible when discussing stuff.

I'm being sensible by not acting like some whackjob sporting a tinfoil hat on the internet and preaching his NWO plans to people and how it's time to take action. I merely said like most conspiracy theories, I can't really tell if it's bullshit or the truth.

I am more or less done with this thread but saying you can't tell if most conspiracy theories are bullshit is like saying you can't tell the difference between New York Times or Washington Post and The National Inquirer.

They could be true, but it's highly unlikely, so I just say bullshit until proven true.

Conspiracy theory vids are usually good for a quick laugh or two in my book.

What really pisses me off about Alex Jones is that he's begun to corrupt those who should know better, like KRS-One and Dave Mustaine.

Not that I particularly care one way or another about most political issues, I have a feeling that there's probably going to be a party van in your front yard soon.
Seriously, though, I think the paranoia on Obama is SEVERELY overblown. Obama doesn't seem much better or worse than any other president (forget your political agenda for a minute) in recent memory save Nixon, yet talk radio and the like have you thinking that simply because the man's in office, doomsday is inevitable.
Bullshit. Even if Obama had the authority to do so, it seems everyone has forgotten one huge facet: CHECKS AND FUCKING BALANCES. A president can not declare himself Emperor, and even if he did, it wouldn't fly unless he had a shitload of supporters, and if that was the case, you'd think he'd have clinched much more of the popular vote than he did. And in theory, if he DID, then you have trouble anyway because a trend like that denotes the very scary but very real possibility of a revolution...

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas.

This. The problem (well, THIS problem) has nothing to to with either Obama or Bush, and has everything to do with assinine people who will believe anything that Limbaugh/Hannity and/or Olbermann tell them.
I mean, Tea Parties. Really guys?

Funny, Dick Cheney strikes me more as a Shang Tsung type. After all, he shot somebody and recovered from a heart attack... who's to say someone's soul didn't fuel that?

The one thing that is ruining politics more than ever these days is how absolutely polarized people are with their views.
I grew up in a very conservative household and our family has always voted Republican. My mother in particular is one of those crazed right wing lunatics in a sense, everything that the Democrats achieve is un-Constitutional and wrong. Everything that Republicans do is good for everyone. To this day, I am very uncomfortable talking about anything political with her, as the talk will get to the point about the end of the World and how Obama is screwing everything up.
On the flipside, a lot of my friends and coworkers are very liberal. They don't have a kind word to say about the Bush administration and believe he is at fault for all the problems in the world. Despite the fact that they are smart people, they seem to be absolutely brainwashed when it comes to the conspiracy theories and such, it really makes me question their motivation for believing such things. I really think, that they trick themselves into believing such things, just to give themselves more reason to hate the guy.
I lived in a college town last year and live in a liberal state in general. The love that Obama got was absolutely astounding. It's as if during the Caucuses, he rode in on a donkey and people placed palm branches down at his feet.
I don't hate the guy, but I feel the love is overwhelming, especially when you consider the race factor that everyone jumped on. I won't delve into the subject matter, but I've always been brought up to believe all men are created equal, if society didn't overly praise or condemn people based on their skin color/creed, I don't know if I would ever have seen the difference in one another. I really hate these people who preach equal rights and all that crap THEN go off and praise someone winning the office and pointing to their skin color, how contradictive is that?
When I was younger, I was really really big into politics. I loved the subject matter and loved to learn the history of our nation. Given the bitter nature of most people who follow politics, I tend to just stay away from it all and this last election made me really consider whether or not I even wanted to vote as I didn't like either candidate, nor did I feel that our problems would be solved in 4 years by either party. I ended up voting afterall, but 3rd party. When I mention this to people, they literally get upset. Why? Because I "wasted" my vote? I swear that the polarization of these people is going to drive me out of the U.S.

You guys are just brainwashed, just watch in 2011 the government is gonna make everyone have RFID on every US citizen. Just check it out, i know the road map they are using and the fact you see it all as bullshit angers me. What's bullshit about askking a few questions that the government REFUSES to answers. For instances there is proof that the government sponsored the attacks of 9/11, the holocaust, Obama himself cause the stock market to crash on purpose just so we could accept his "stimulus". It's nothing more than just blood money by the coporate fat cast and the facist pigs that are the N.W.O.
Look at the Bilderberg Group these are top government officals meeting in secrecy and it's NEVER been mention by the mainstream media , ask your self these questions, please, dont take Alex Jones movies as jokes , just give them a quick view, then decide.
The Roadmap to Tyranny
1993- The Siege at Waco,Texas
1995- The Oaklahoma City Bombing
1996-1999: Numerous school related incidents (columbine in general has too many holes )
2000-The failuer of the Y2K virus
2001-9/11 (We already know the "stories")
2004- Bush rigs the election.
and many more

You may have a problem with a few Marines bashing your head into the posts of the White House before you even got a sniff of Obama. That said I have served under three Presidents, Clinton, Bush and now Obama. There is a major difference here. Obama is the youngest, as such he has not had as much time in politics to fall into debt to major interest groups. The crap you hear on TV and from lunatic conservatives is merely propaganda. They want you to support the very system that is keeping you oppressed. Unless you are a republican making over 1,000,000 per year, then yes, he is going to fuck up your world.
Also, unlike Bush, this man listens to people who know what is going on. Like say, I dont know, field Generals. Wow, what a concept, getting war fighting stragedy from people who fight wars! Unlike Bush who listened only to Cheney, Rummy, and Co. (the chickenhawks). This crap is merely the right wings final breath as they realize these scare tactics and propaganda may have won them the Bush years, but have since become outdated. As a former Republican, it would be nice to see some actual ideas come from the right, so maybe one day I could vote for the Grand Old Party Again.
"Democrats have moved to the Right, and the Right has moved into a mental hospital.
So what we have is one perfectly good party for hedge fund managers, credit card companies, banks, defense contractors, big agriculture and the pharmaceutical lobby --- that's the Democrats. And they sit across the aisle from a small group of religious lunatics, flat-earthers, and Civil War re-enacters who mostly communicate by AM radio and call themselves the Republicans."
