One question, not really a SPOILER in any major regard, but...

1. The kid was called Columbus by Woody Harrelson because that was his intended destination.
2. Woody was referred to as Florida/Tallahassee because that's where he was planning to go.
3. The girl and her younger sister were referred to as Wichita and Little Rock. Was this ever explained? They were heading to Los Angeles, not to Wichita and Little Rock. Were Wichita and Little Rock their birthplaces? If so, were they not real sisters?

Yeah, that bugged me too, Syd. No explaination was given other than "they can't have the same name". Those may have been the alleged destinations from when they first met or something.

I remember when I first heard about the movie that Mila Kunis was involved, but now I can't find any information on what happened. It may have just been some ppl messing around on imdb like when they said Sasuke's English voice in Naruto was Seth Green.

On another note, I found out filming was done in more than just Valdosta, but also Atlanta, Hapeville, Morrow, Decatur, Newnan, and Powder Springs. The theme park is really called Wild Adventures Water & Theme Park (about 5 miles away from Valdosta).

Some locations did look familiar; I simply couldn't place where exactly though.

I can guess however that the first Stadium scene in the movie must've been in Atlanta.

I think it was on the direct level or maybe a tad better than Shaun of the Dead.

Anyways, I kind of assumed that the one girl was called "Witchita" because she was mean like a Witch, and the other girl was "Little Rock" because she is little. Then again, I am dumb.

Forget A Zombieland Sequel: Writers Have 12 Films Planned

Zombieland was supposed to be a TV show on CBS. But when the network ditched the series — the fools! — Zombieland was made into a movie. Leaving tons of material for sequels. Which the writers revealed to us.

We spoke with Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick all about the long journey this zombie epic made from television to film. We learned what changed, and how many more zombie movies these two guys have in their brains.

I'm up for a sequel to Zombieland Smile That would be great. It feels like they just get started in the movie anyway.

I just got back from seeing it and really enjoyed it. I loved all the pop culture jokes and the cameo was really funny.

Waitwaitwait...Better than Shaun of the Dead? I don't know how comfortable I am with that. It's absolutely in the top 3, though...The other being, of course, Fido.

Wait, what . . . i know Zombieland is doing good but come on, no franchise can get past 4 films without becoming stale. I can see a trilagy but 12 movies. come on hollywood, the film is not even a year old and you already want to strangle it.

Well, being as it was conceived as a TV series, they probably have several major story archs in mind. And I would imagine some of the stories focus around other survivors.

Also, couldn't they just develop a TV show at this point? TV is a huge goldmine these days, and actors are getting big money to do TV these days.
