I recently picked this game up for the Wii, and of course it's awesome, and the motion controls enhance the experience, blah blah blah.
But something is confusing me. Starting around Chapter 2 or so, at the end of every chapter the game tells me how many enemies I've killed, and it's usually 50-75, but it tells me that there's a total of 300 enemies! Where the hell are all these extra enemies the game is telling me about? I consider myself about a 9 in the exploration work ethic, but all I can find are those 50-75.
Oh yea, and is Professional mode annoying like Metroid Prime 3 was, in the sense that "you'll basically need the rocket launcher in order to do any damage to bosses?"

This game was my crack for a while. Anyway, the "300" I think is the "Total enemies killed so far" and I haven't tried Pro mode, so I dunno.

After playing 5, I found myself wanting to play 4 again. it was way longer, more intense with more "oh shit!" moments and the story was better and more coherent than 5.

In professional mode, all the enemies simply dish out and take more damage. Which is to say, everything is stronger but still entirely possible to beat without much trouble. Except Krauser, who is abso-frakking-lutely ANNOYING.

That's because you couldn't deduce that the guy who you were in a knife fight earlier and wounded with a knife and fights you with a knife might have a weakness against the knife.

SOOOOOO much easier.Like 5-6 hits tops compared to like 120-30 with a good gun.

Yeah and its this whole backstory bullshit about how Leon and Krauser were rivals or something like that so if you whack him with a knife a few times he falls down.

What they added more stuff? Krauswer was a good guy in RE3. That is all theres to it. Shinji just decided to make him evil on purpose. Like a pupet. Maybe he will turn good, like Dinobot in another series.

To my knowledge the game doesn't list the total number of enemies, just the ones in that particular chapter and the total for the game so far.
