This is actually movie related, the fan film Metal Gear Solid-Philanthropy has finally been released. I've been following this project for a few years now since I saw their first trailer. It is actually quite well done, check it out:

I'm only about 17 minutes in and so far this is very well done. I think this film will raise the bar on what a fan film can be. The guy playing Snake sounds very much like David Hayter. Also the first CODEC conversation is pretty hilarious.
