Not only is Capcom making me buy Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom and Resident Evil 5 again due to added stuff, but now Street Fighter gets the treatment!
original leak:
Announcement Vid:
http://tgs.gamespot.com/video/6230545/
The Lowdown:
-expected release date: Spring of 2010. Physical disc. Not DLC. Supposedly not going to be priced like a full new game. Probably going to want to keep your original IV disc for some reason.
-New online stuff that we should have already had, like support for rooms. Gameplay tweaks.
-New characters: Arab grappler named Hakan, who is obsessed with oil. What the hell? Korean taekwondo fighter named Juri. important in the main storyline. Works for Seth supposedly. looks retarded. First Taekwondo fighter ever in Street Fighter.
-T.Hawk and DeeJay from SSFTT are in. They were actually planned, half made, and dropped for the original Street Fighter IV.
-Ibuki, Makoto and Dudley from Third Strike are in. Dudley is supposedly trying to locate a rose. No stupider than trying to find his car like in TS, I suppose.
-Alpha additions include Adon, Cody and Guy. Great choices IMO Cody has an alpha counter and fights with a knife. Guy has his chain combos from Alpha.
-Probably no bonus stages, even if designers wanted them in.
-People each have 2 Ultras now. Some even have extra supers. Personally I feel this ruins the "complex simplicity" of the game. Sakura regians Shinku Hadouken. Guile regains Sonic Hurricane. - Makoto has her super as Tanden Renki. May be possible to activate with an Ultra charged to commence the rape time. Gen gets a new air Ultra. Chun-Li gets Kikoshou. Sagat regains Tiger Cannon (like he REALLY needed it). Zangief has a new throw called "Siberian Blizzard" that involves rotating the stick in a 720 motion.
-Some new moves include sick names like "Breathless", "Yoga Shangri-La", "Psycho Punisher" and "Demon Armageddon".

Adon is originally from Street Fighter 1, not Alpha.
Though from a continuity standpoint, Alpha does come first.

I know T. Hawk was always goofy and pointless, but was he always fucking gigantic? I don't seem to remember that.

Yes he was.
And apparently borderline offensive if these pics are to be believed...

I am well aware of where Adon first made his appearance, but he is notable as being from alpha. Technically we could argue semantics about Guy and Cody being originally from Final Fight as well.
and according to the artbooks, T. Hawk is HUGE:

I loved Dee Jay back in the original SSF. He was a lot of fun to play. T. Hawk? Not really, overrated for spammers using jabs to buffer 360 rotations to do his power throw. No imagination, even by "top tourney" players.
Dee Jay? Depth, rhythm and he can danced.

I welcome the extra fighters, but I am worried about the whole thing with the characters having more than one super and ultra now.

Ibuki is back. Sweet. And, you all thought a one man internet campaign wouldn't work! Apparently someone from Capcom saw my Sig, and got the message.

T.Hawk, yay.
Dee Jay, meh.
Arab grappler dude who likes oil, yay.
Juri person, dunno yet.
Ibuki, meh.
Makoto, seriously? Over more interesting characters like Q, Alex, Necro, etc?
Dudley, hell yes.
Adon, hell yes.
Cody, cool.
Guy, meh.
Overall, I would've preferred Rolento or Sodom over Guy and Borekoto, but still neat nonetheless.

I would go into the whole thing about how the EX characters are owned by Arika and not Capcom, and how Arika even went so far as to reuse Blair and Skullomania in other games that they've made, but I've been doing it all day.
I'm looking forward to trying Makoto. Guys like Necro and Q just seem a little silly and out of place. Alex would be cool, but we already have an abundance of grapplers, and Alex is in TvC.

I think I'll wait for Super Street Fighter IV: Turbo, personally.

That makes two of us. I was pretty good with her in SF III.

I can't muster up as much excitement since I've encountered a bout of fighting game burnout at the moment, but good shit!
I was never good with T.Hawk, but I can't wait to play as Guy though since he was one of my fave mains in SFA2, and Ibuki.
