Hey guys me and my mate want a new RTS to play so we can fight eachother online.
There is a few catches though and my knowledge of RTS is limited to a few games so i don't know what's good and what's not.
The few catches being: My computer is too crap to run anything with a gig or over in RAM even some games which are 512MB ram.
Also we already have these games: Starcraft, Warcraft and Red Alert.
Any recommendations of games appreciated.

Rise of nations was a great game a few years ago, and should still hold up.

I actually used to own Total Annihilation years ago when i had a Mac must have been mid 90s.
I didn't really like it. I actually meant Red Alert 2 i should have specified that sorry.
I also prefer games with base construction than just battles aka total war but i will check out what you have suggested thanks.

Rise of Nations is a fairly low-graphic game, that still looks good and is loads of fun. It's my favorite game!

I remember Empires: Dawn of the Modern World eating up a lot of my time for a while. It was sort of like Rise of Nations, but with a different balance structure.

Stronghold: Crusader Extreme, Command & Conquer: The First Decade, and Cossacks: Back to War are some of the best I can think of that you didn't mention.

Age of Mythologies was freakin awesome, I remember playing the shit out of that game, and when the Titans expansion came out I played the shit out of that too. I'd give them a definite try OPer for some fun.
