A top 100 list for the 100th post? Just a thought, although I'm not sure there are even 100 good N64 games...

I think the N64 is kind of hard for a top 100 list since I can't really think of 100 really good N64 games.

Goldeneye, Turok Dinosuar Hunter, Wrestlemania 2000, Beetle Adventure Racing, 1080 Snowboarding, SM64, Mario Kart64, Mario Party, Glover, Diddy Kong Racing, San Francisco Rush 2049, Crusin' USA, Doom 64, Donkey Kong 64, Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Stadium, F-Zero X, Star Fox 64, Kirby 64, Gauntlet Ledgends, Jet Force Gemini, Orcarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Micro Machines Turbo 64, Perfect Dark, Paper Mario, Pilotwings 64, Penny Racers, Robotron 64, Star Wars Episode 1: Racer, Star Wars: Rougue Squadron...
That's pretty much it, the system didn't have to many really good ones, but I've played most of them on the console, just those stuck out the most.

Of course, but I didn't really enjoy Blast Corps. as much so I didn't remember it until you mentioned it.
Now if he did a top 100 Playstion games list, that would work.

No Banjo-Kazooie, Tooie, or Conker's Bad Fur Day? Three of my favorite games of all-time? Sir, I feel disrespected.

Banjo-Kazooie pissed me off greatly. I never played tooie or Conkers Bad Fur Day but I only heard bad things about Conker, and not the R-rated comedy, just that it sucked. If syd does a top 100 psx games Fucking Suikoden has to be in it...

Donkey Kong 64 sucked, especially in comparison to B-K and B-K2.
N64 would be a top 50 list, most likely, or however close to 100 I think I could get away with. And it would include Excitebike 64 and Dr. Mario 64.

I like that idea, and whoever told someone on here "bad things" about Conker must have been a raving lunatic. I just started playing that game a month ago and it still holds up today. It may be just me, but any game that begins with a Clockwork Orange reference is a winner in my book.

Conker had amazing graphics for it's time, it resembled an early PS2 game and had amazing humor. Soooo many quotable lines....and yeah DK64 wasn't too great, it was basically a glorified collect-a-thon, it tried too hard to be like Spyro to me.

Ya but isn't there only like 32 games for 32x? I think a top 64 is a good idea.

I wasn't all that impressed with the XBOX version, I might buy the N64 version of it though, sounds like something I would still enjoy, I remember wanted to play it really bad as a kid.

Well since there are about 200+ U.S. released N64 games a top 100 would just get ridiculous. Since the list is so small why not just rank EVERY 64 game from greatest to shittiest. That could be fun.

According to Wikipedia, there were 300 N64 games released in North America.
Quote:
This is a complete list of all 387 games for the Nintendo 64 video game system
Quote:
Of its 387 releases, 83 were exclusive to Japan, 42 to North America, and 4 to Europe.
387 total, minus 83 Japan exclusives, minus 4 Europe exclusives = 300.

Just because it said 200+ doesn't mean 300 is out of it's range. If Contra has taught me anything, just because you have 5 medals doesn't mean you have 5 lives.

True, but 200+, to reasonable people, means that it's a number between 201-299.
When a video game box touts that the game has "over 20 playable characters!", the number of playable characters is NEVER 30. It's usually 21.

Not to beat a dead horse but either they are not listing 4 games or they added wrong because when I put the games into an excel file I find that the number is 296. Just saying...
