And I don't think Kefka manipulated Gesthal into doing anything. Gesthal was doing things on his own. Kefka just betrayed him and did what he wanted to do instead.

All I can say is, where the fuck is Auron? An Auron vs. Sepheroth battle would be the most epic thing ever.

Still, the game almost makes up for it with Kefka. Almost.

There is no Auron? DAMNIT! Maybe they'll release a DLC pack on the PSN...

I dunno about a DLC pack but there's a good chance at a sequel being made, and given the chance, I'd vote for Auron to be the 2nd character representing Final Fantasy X.

Wakka wasn't that bad, but if they Put Rikku in it, it's because all those guys who FAP to FF Porn demanded it. I'm sure they could do a DLC since a couple of the more recent games have it on the PSN.

They wouldn't put Rikku or Wakka in the game because neither Seymour or Jecht have a particular connection to them. I know nobody here particularly cares but here's how I see the character roster if they made a Dissidia 2:
FF1: A Black or Red Mage against Astos
FF2: Maria against Leon
FF3: Luneth or Arc against Xande
FF4: Kain against Zemus
FF5: Faris or Lenna against Gilgamesh
FF6: Celes or Locke against Gesthal
FF7: Zack, maybe Tifa against Jenova or Genesis
FF8: Laguna against Seifer
FF9: Steiner or Garnet against Beatrix
FF10: Auron against Seymour
FF11: I dunno, I never really could play FF11 due to the online costs
FF12: Vaan and Basch against Vayne

And that's barring any outside series influence, like Kingdom Hearts, which would probably have Sora against Riku,

They should have had Squall against Seifer in all fairness. It borders on a Sephiroth Cloud battle or a Cecil Golbez battle.

I actually wouldn't mind that, if only because he'd probably be the resident cheap character with his Bliztball throwing antics. I suck at fighting games so he'd be perfect for me.

Auron had his chance to be in already, and the only people with a legitimate rivalry against Seymour are Tidus and Yuna.

Regarding FF9: I'd rather see Vivi vs one of those engineered mages (forget the name).

Also, I'd love for Cid to be playable, with each "costume" representing a different game's version of him.

You know what would be awesome, would be Vivi and one of the Black Waltzes.

Although I would adore playing as Beatrix, too. I loved her.
