Wow, I didn't think it was too funny when I wrote it. Awesome! The Flyin' Jew made me add this.

I wish I could find a good mp3 of MK1's Pit theme. That song had a great atmosphere and mood for that stage. It FELT desolate.

I prefer the theme to the stage where the monks are watching, but yeah, me too. I've tried recording the music with an emulator, but all the ROMs I've found seem to be glitchy and the controls act on their own, making the music unrecordable without a bunch of annoying sound effects in with them.

I've been playing armageddon a little bit this past week, and I can kinda say that it's enjoyable in small doses. I have to at least give it that.

My roommate has MK vs DC.

It's not as bad as I've heard. I love playing as The Joker.

Well, my favorite character is easily Raiden--less because of his moves and more because of Christopher Lambert's kick ass portrayal of him, but still. It really broke my heart when he went evil, and the fact that none of his alternate costumes took him back to his "Defender of Earthrealm" look just rubbed salt in the wound.

...I agree, especially since both Deception and Armageddon let you play as Liu Kang before he starred in "Thriller."

Rayden has always been a favorite of mine, too--He kicks ass in every Mortal Kombat he's in, even Mythologies' Cutscenes. Rayden had an Auto-Combo in Trilogy that ended in his 'Superman' move. I loved that combo--Not only was it damaging as all hell (Especially when you started the combo w/a Jump Kick), but it was ridiculously easy to do (See Noob Saibot).

Sigh. I love Nightwolf too though

...Yeah, Nightwolf was cool. I remember a MK Trilogy Strat Guide that said he was 'The greatest Mortal Kombat character. I always found that funny.

and I don't think any true MK fan can honestly say they don't love Sub Zero and Scorpion.

...Yeah, though I've always liked Sub-Zero more--He was damn near unstoppable in MK3 with the aforementioned 'Throw Priority' and his unblockable Ice Clone trick/glitch.

DA is my favorite game to just play, while Deception easily has the best Konquest mode. I mean, teleporting between the realms and interacting with just about every famous character in the MK universe? I don't care if its just stupid fight challenges and fetch quests, sign me up!

lol Same here, though I like Armageddon best out of the 3D MKs (Vs. DC is cool, but gets boring real quick. As for Deception, some of those 'stupid fight challenges' had some of the most ridiculous rules/criteria (One of the Scorpion and Sindel fights immediately come to mind) EVER. And don't get me started on the Flaming Hoops you have to jump through to unlock Liu Kang and his Alternate Costume.

Anyway, despite those (And a few other) flaws,Deception has far and away the best Konquest mode (Even if the graphics look like a second-generation PS1 game)--DA's was too straightforward and boring (Though helpful, Gameplay-wise, especially for beginners), and Armageddon's was too boring--I still haven't beat that one, and have no intention to.

Thank (Insert Higher Power HERE) there are/were alternate ways to unlock things in Armageddon, or I'd never get everything...

Was I supposed to put something here?
