So I went to one of my friend's house, and he was playing some age of mythology. Once a long time ago I was a computer game player of games like starcraft or fallout 2, so I recommended a couple of games that he should give a try. The first being impossible creatures, an RTS where you combine animals to make your units. The second was Planescape: Torment, a game that given half a chance I will sing the praises of as the high point of all western RPGs.

Alas, you can't buy them save for a ridiculous price on E-bay. Damn it, these are comp games, we can have them on a legit download site for $10-20 dollars, its not like we have to fire up a CD factory or shit. Just bugged by it.

I think it's impossible to find "Mission Force : Cyberstorm" That game was the shit. Upgradable Mech RTS in Windows 95!!1!!1!

Also, Knyte if your listening I know you would know this. What was the name of that game that either came with some copies of Windows 95 or was on a Microsoft Entertainment Pack CD. It involved flying around in some spaceship thing and I think the word "Hell" was in the name of the game.

I don't think that game exists. It's probably just a screen shot that was made for the movie. Why? I don't know. I found this a while back when I was looking for the game in the middle of the night.

I checked the movie credits, and no credit is given to the game publisher, which there would (should) be if it was a real game. There are these credits:

Computer Image Designed by SMA Video Inc. (now SMA Realtime, Inc.: http://www.smavid.com/)
Computer Display Engineered by David Satin (David Satin is now EVP, Secretary, and Treasurer of SMA Realtime, Inc.)

So, I think it isn't a real game, and instead a special effect.

I 2nd GOG has a good place to start finding older PC games. Other than that, there's always abandonware, though it is alot harder to find older PC games that were cd-based. It's easy to host files that are only 1 MB - 40 MB each, but it's alot more expensive to host a bunch of files that are all 400 - 700 MB each.

(no abadonware, gamez, warez, or ROM site links, please)

Be careful of sites like Gog that will try to sell you games from $6-$10 that are completely free now and public domain (such as Cannon Fodder)

Fury3 was my first thought. Turns out that had a sequel called Hellbender, which is probably what he means.

Hellbender! Thats it, thanks a lot Tyop. I played the shit out of that game because it was free and I was too poor to buy Descent.

I remember trying to get Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries to run on anything besides my old Windows 95 machine. Apparently there are patches for Mechwarrior 2 to run on XP and Vista, but not for Mercs.

I remember in 1997 when I had a 386sx comp that I couldnt find games for it anywhere. There was no place in my hometown of Memphi that sold floppy disk games like I needed. This was in the day before the internet and ebay.

I used to own Impossible Creatures. I didn't like it that much (there's not really enough customization options for me) but have been itching to play it recently.

correction GOG will try and sell you Cannon Fodder 2
for $6 - $10 dollars, which is most certainly not a free game, as far as I checked.
The first one is though!

also they have gothic 2 for like 9 bux, whereas trying to find a copy on ebay almost cost me 60 bux!

Yeah good luck, all the patches I've tried never worked. The best I got was the game to play minus sound effects and music.

Found it. I should be on IDESE with my forum name. I also found the full Doom 1 wad on a rom site (the DOS version) which runs in Skulltag.

Umm, is this not the original Cannon Fodder on Gog's site? http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/cannon_fodder

In fact, I don't even see where they offer Cannon Fodder 2.
