Once again, I've beaten Legend Of Kay, the most underrated game I've ever played, and seen the words "We'll be back!" at the end of the credits. I still hold the people behind this grossly underappreciated gem to that. Has anyone else here played this game? And if so, are you also still hoping for a sequel?

Same here.
This also sounds like the ending to Axeley.

Assuming that's a typo, I just watched Axelay's ending on YouTube and didn't find any such message.

I'd like to propose a new rule. When talking about games, especially so-called "hidden gems", can you give us the platform it's on?

I remember seeing something on this back in 2005 on G4. I think there was a clip of the master getting drunk and he was like "You should never interrupt a master's meditation." Or something along those line.

The game actually caught my eye as I happened to be on Capcom's website one day that year. With its unique premise, endearing characters and badass hardcore action, the game did not disappoint me, but the fact that it flew under just about everyone else's radar did.
