Gunstar Super Heroes is basically a remake with better graphics and a lot of gameplay mechanics such as the throw ability and the ability to combine weapons. In place of those they tweaked the levels and added the ability to change from free to fixed shot. It plays smoothly however I find it a lot less fun then the original. It's not a bad game though.

I am aware of this.

I mean that I think it would be cool to have a game like the original gunstar heroes, but with all the crazy things that they are capable of doing graphically nowadays. I think it would be fantastic in action.

It's a bit new, but there really needs to be a Rogue Squadron 4, one that has a lot less on foot segments. Oh, and a new Dark Cloud game

How about a new Toe Jam and Earl? Hopefully the original will sell really well on XBLA and they will make a sequel.

Heretic 3 - first person like the original Heretic, but what about a Super Etheral Crossbow, like the SSG in Doom 2, and some new monsters and abilities.
HeXen 3 - Maybe add the ability to develop your character and others.
Strife 2 - Same as HeXen 3.
System Shock 3
Sonic X-Treme may help redeem SEGA.

Well, if you consider spiritual successors to be close enough, Bioshock is considered a spiritual successor to System Shock

I would like to see a sequeal to marc eckos getting up, contents under pressure. The first game left so much potential for a sequeal I don't see why they haven't made one

Not really. To me, spiritual successor implies at least something close to the same universe--i.e. Ico/Shadow of the Colossus. Bioshock and System Shock are really not all that alike. If I can get on my soapbox for a second, I agree with Shamus over at TwentySided, who noted that marketing Bioshock as some sort of successor to System Shock was really a disservice to it.

Legend Of Dragoon. Not to many game utilized the active battle sequences and I found that to be extremely fun aspect of the game. Formula wise I don't know Neutral

Battlefield Vietnam kind of already has a sequel, since its part of the Battlefield series, and most of the technology in it is exhibited in Battlefield 2, which is a fantastic modern warfare game.

Yes, but I don't want more WW2 or Modern, I want VIETNAM!!!!

I want jungles, snipers, VC, NVA, USMC, Jeeps, River Boats, Choppers, M60's, and a soundtrack chocked full of Stones, Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, and the like. Oh yeah, and napalm.

I want to patrol the Mekong Delta with my fire support team. I want my radio man to have to carry his phone on his back. I want my engineer to cock his Remington 870 at the first sounds of trouble. I want my rifleman to trip over a wire, that releases a spring loaded tree branch that has 6 inch sharpened spikes stiking out of it, that puncture his chest. I want to hold his hand while he painfully dies talking about how he will never see the farm where he grew up on, ever again. I want the token black guy to talk about how he misses his momma's cooking back in Lousiana. I want to send my tunnel rat into a VC hole to hunt them down like dogs in their own turf with nothing but a M1911 and a boot knife. I want to find and destroy an important supply bridge, while a large NVA convoy is crossing it. I want to come under heavy fire from am ambush in a river bed valley. I want the heavy to unload his M60 to provide cover, while he is screaming obsenities so offensive and racist, that a KKK member would blush with shame. I want the radio man to hide behind a boulder, trying to yell into the radio, over the sounds of bullets wizzing by and mortar blasts shooting water 20 feet in the air. After what seems like infinity, I want the F4 Phantoms to come screaming through the canyon, and droping Willy Pete clusters on the opposing force. As the fireballs of death expand and rise into the sky behind us, me and my men retreat down the river banks to finally be picked up by the UH-1 Hueys. And we fly through the blacken smoke filled sky, that reeks of Sulphur and burned human flesh, I want to hear "Magic Carpet Ride" as the camera pans behind the choppers to show them flying into the red horizon of the sun set.

You can't have that kind of expirence in WW2 or Modern, now can you?

I played trials HD a few days ago on XBLA, and honestly, if they made a new excitebike with this game's skeleton, it would be fantastic.

How about Crystalis 2? Also I want to be able to play Destiny of an Emperor 2, I just need a decent computer that will fucking work so I can download an English version.
