But seriously, about the video, that's fucked up. Hopefully all the stupid people who text while driving will see it and re-think what they do on a usual basis. Scare tactics can be effective, eh?

not really. I'd rather a cop see me texting than talkign on the phone.
maybe the laws on talking while driving shoudln't be so harsh, cause as it stands, I don't want to spend money on a bluetooth headset, and it's totally legal to text while driving.

Ya know, now that I think about it, that scene RUINED the video for me. The whole video was gritty and realistic, very intense to say the least. However, there's two grown adults dead in the front part of the car and that little girl doesn't have a single scratch on her. Honestly, WTF? I mean, even if she didn't get literally scratched, it would be normal for a little child like that crying their eyes out in a panicky frenzy if he/she was actually in a car crash. What kind of fucking reaction is that?!
Sure, the whole idea of saying "if you text while driving not only can you hurt yourself, but you could cause great trauma for child losing her parents" is effective, but they really fucked up the delivery of that scene. That girl didn't seem as upset as I would be if I saw my parents die in a car crash.
Maybe I'm over-analyzing the situation, but that part ruined it for me. If they excluded that stupid part, that video would be possibly be the greatest PSA I've ever seen. It's not easy to watch, but it excellently gets its point across.

People need to stop using their phone in the car. You're fucking driving, focus on it. I have too many jagoffs at intersections almost hit me because they're running a stop sign or a light, and they almost ALWAYS are using a cell phone.
BTW, the scene happens right at 1:58, in case you wanna look at what I'm talking about right away. For me, it almost serves as comedic relief because it's the only reason I'm not depressed after watching the video.

Seconded. If PSAs like that help make people stop doing that shit, I'll gladly sit through them.
Somehow I don't imagine they're much help, though.

I honestly must be fully desensitized as I barely flinched throughout the video, while the prevent it videos were more on the hilarious side.
Though I agree: Contrary to belief, the average person's AWFUL at multtasking, so please, leave the goddamn phone alone while driving.
