No I was serious. I got virus from piratebay, most likely from a third party ad. The viruses out there are getting nastier and nastier, too. It disabled Task Manager, Spybot, and Malwarebytes and began running a fake virus scan. Luckily ComboFix took care of it.

I was pretty much poking fun at the use of "amirite?"
but in all seriousness, if you're really that adamant about dissing on tweeting (twittering?) why would you check two different accounts and take screencaps?

well, my apologies then. I took "Is the point of this type of communication to just hope that someone else will care? " as a personal attack, considereing it was in reference to something that I had posted on my personal twitter, complete with a screencap.
you could see how I could be lead to that misconception, I imagine.

I can, but I don't take the Internets too seriously, so I didn't think that way when I posted. My bad if it came across as harsh or critical.

This is exactly how I intended to use my Twitter account, obviously as a parody of people who act like that. If you check my early Twitter updates (I STILL refuse to call them tweets), you will definitely see a few that are just me saying I'm on the toilet.

I feel I should apologize, in that I started my friends using "amirite?", in the only way that I felt was acceptable, which was arbitrary jew slander. They've calmed down, but for a while I couldn't get them to stop proper and it got obnoxious. Its high time amirite dies the death that most memes should.
Which brings me to twittering, in that its a fad and like most fads, memes, and other creations sustained purely by attention its death is imminent and can be hastened by ignoring the subject itself and disregarding those who put stock in it. Noise just contributes to the idea that people use it.

I kind of see Twitter as a necessary evil. i use it to promote my site. I still think the whole idea of Twitter is dumb but the more people who see my posts about site updates the better I guess.

oh there is no reason to apologize. It's just every time I see "amirite" I think of one of two things: either how funny it would be if there was a politician named "M.I.Wright" or the sudden urge to shout "NO! U R WRONG!" at the person who said it.

Pretty much. The only I even got one was to whore out LVS to my twenty followers. If I ever decide to quit LVS, my Twitter will get deleted, lickety-split.

The only reason I ever use Twitter is to make quick updates that a blog won't justify, like how I abandoned my Skulltag duel mod for a recreation of Zero Tolerance.

If i had a twitter, i would neglect it. Because i still don't see the point in it. If you got a facebook and/or my space, then what is the point of having a twitter. Maybe if you hosted a site like syd and spoony or do blogging and articles and wanted to keep your updates in one quick place, i suppose Twitter might come in handy then. But if you're some bubbly teen girl, what's the point in posting about what your NOT eating today?
