Weird, I was just thinking about how there haven't really been any remakes of the classic Universal monsters lately.

This i can see, the old classic movie monster movies have been remade several time and they more or less are at least are entertaining. It's much like 'A Christmas Carol' so many remakes with a wide variety of good and bad. I still enjoy the old black and white ones instead. Hellsing i thought was decent and that was basically a remake of three movies in one.
