For some reason I don't find him relevant in 80's action films. Besides Bloodsport I can't really think of anything (good).

He's declared that he is too good for this anyway, so he can be left out of the explosion of super 80's action thats about to occur.

Is this going to be another "Baysplosion" movie? I know the action cast of this movie is star-ridden, but it's still made up of action movie stars. I just feel like this is going to be about untold amounts of foreigners being blown up in every obscure way possible.

This will be the next popcorn movie to sweep the box office. If Transformers couldn't break Titanic then maybe this film will.
Then again with so many egos this movie might get so muddled that it gets completely unnoticed. We shall see. I'm hoping Charisma is still hot, even after having a kid she still had a great figure in the last season of Angel.

Where is the negative statement? Seeing just about all the actors I grew up on are in this movie, I don't care what its about. It just screams movie of awesomeness. When has Stallone done a bad movie. "Never", That's right. I hope it's just them going nuts on the world, and nobody (main characters) better die until the last 5-10 minutes either

Van Damme was Time Cop and Universal Soldier, both of which were fucking awesome.
I want to see a scene where Seagal shows up and asks if he come on the mission and everyone just looks at him and laughs.

Ad for UFC 102 interviewing Couture, and featuring clips from The Expendables.

I kind of get what he's saying. Compare really good action movies like Die Hard to popcorn b-flicks like Van Damme movies, and there's a difference. The (good) Die Hards had a likeable actor going up against a well-acted villain (Rickman, Irons, etc.). The characters were well-crafted and down to Earth, while in Seagal/Van Damme, almost every character is just laughably written/acted. These days, we don't get too many good, semi-serious action flicks. Most of them tend to be B-movies, whether they're self-aware or not.

What about Kickboxer!, the dancing scene in that used to have me and my mates crying with laughter. Absolute classic!!

Return of the Dragon was the manliest movie that has ever been or ever will be. Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris in the same movie, come on!
This one may come in at a close second if they manage to add a few more names to the lineup.
