Cosplay, like others said, is fine as long as you take it in the right direction. It's not something so horrible it should be wiped from the face of the earth or something super-awesome. I think it's just something you do just to dress as your favorite character for a day or two as opposed to going to school or your job dressed like Naruto every day. People seem to have mixed reactions about cosplay, and some just take it way too far, on each end of the debate (i.e. some people think if you cosplay, you should die and others cosplay EVERY FUCKING DAY). If I ever break down and do it, I'd either be Kage from Virtua Fighter or the old-school Doom Marine.
