Seriously, I've been trying to find a decent used car lately, and it's something I've been noticing a lot. During my life, I've driven cars from every decade between 1930 and now, and I swear that you could pour sugar water over any of them, and nothing would be wrong, but if you throw a lollipop into a '90s-era car, suddenly the whole thing has a sugary, crumby candy glaze over everything.

Guess I was inviting a sex joke, but I can't be the only one who's noticed this. Even when I was little, my friends' parents would get a new car, and two months later there'd be that sugar/crumb combination over every corner of the car.
