It'd be bullshit anyway. As the Voodoo Kin Mafia once pointed out, DX was more than two guys. The last DX reunion was bullshit. Two guys isn't a fucking stable. DX was four guys: HHH, X-Pac, Road Dogg, and Billy Gunn. Chyna was useless, and Shawn Michaels is optional.

Well, technically the first version of DX was a 4 person stable. Shawn, Hunter, Chyna, and Rick Rude.
Out of all the prior DX members:
Rude's dead, Chyna's insane, Waltman's also insane, and the NAO are both road agents for TNA, so there's not much WWE can do other than pair up Shawn and HHH.

True, but pairing up Shawn and HHH doesn't equal DX. That's like pairing up Arn Anderson and Ric Flair and calling them the Four Horsemen.

Ah, nothing quite says "degenerate" like the middle-aged son-in-law of the boss and his middle-aged balding religious friend.

Okay, wrong. DX post-WM14 was lamer than Los Boricuas. Other than HHH/Chyna, here's a bunch of failed midcarders stroking the same yawnfest catchphrases in their entrance every week for like a year straight! They're edgy, they wear South Park shirts! He's playing with a Super Soaker... oh I get it, he's jacking off. What the fuck? Yawn.
TRUE DX was as Knyte said, HHH, Chyna, Rude (for a little while anyway), and one VERY coked-out HBK. HBK in his grandest pre-Jesus glory days imo. Strip poker, picking his nose with Canada's flag, the "Uncle Tom 3:16" sign in NoD's locker room, and the greatest European title match in the history of that belt, in December 1997.
I mean, let's be honest. Everyone goes "they invaded wcw, how cool", but they sat on a jeep outside of a building. No one in post-WM14 DX ever did anything as cool as this:

BTW Knyte, you currently have control of the board in Guess The Movie. It's been like a week. Post something.

I was never a fan of the Road Dog Jesse James because he wore a shirt in the ring. (no homo)
Either wear a singlet ala Earthquake or suck it up and show off your man-boobs, but wrestlers shouldn't wrestle in T-Shirts. (Tommy Dreamer, I'm looking at you too)

A-Train

Bastion Booger
etc.

The Outlaws/X-Pac/HHH version of DX was cool and all, but nothing beats the original. Triple H always had something dirty to say to the women in the audience, and I remember watching Raw a few weeks before WrestleMania XIV, they were in Phoenix, I think. Anyways, H said something like "And ladies, if you play your cards right, you might wind up back at Triple H's place tonight. But don't worry, because after you get pricked by my cactus, I'll let you play with my prairie dog!".

I'm hoping for Michaels to turn heel, and fight Triple H at WM26.

Apparently, we are back to lame, watered down, PG rated, slapstick DX skits.
EDIT: Okay, I did like the ending. But, I can't help but love when HBK randomly SCM's people, especially children.

I missed raw (as usual) but after reading the report, I had to see these skits. The little girl getting kicked was pretty good, but I really wish he would've crotch-chopped her. That would've put it over the top into the realm of awesome.

I enjoyed Slaughter making fun of Canada, and of course Michaels superkicking his former boss and the girl. Seeing Eugene not get the contract was a sigh of relief for me, he needs to be Nick Dinsmore, not Eugene.

I am such an HBK fangirl. Its so sad. I laugh at whatever he does when its meant to be funny, no matter how stupid it is. I just...he's so...*siiiiiiiiiiigh*
(I really did actually enjoy those skits. The DX reunion isn't really necessary, its kind of the same spirit as necroing an old thread at this point, but what the hell. Anything that gets Shawn back in the ring is A-ok with me.)

I think the funniest part about the HBK segments was that the last time we saw him, he's wrestling The Undertaker at Wrestlemania in the one of the best matches of his career. Next time we see him he's working as a chef, being called by his real name and kicking a little girl in the face. Good times.
And Sarge was awesome. I like that both he and Ted Diabaise got to act like heels instead of being faces (as legends usually are these days).

Slaughter's best as a heel IMO, as proven by his Iraqi sympathizer run.

^ God that made me so mad as a kid lol. I still didn't entirely understand the concept of "wrestling = acting."

What makes the reunion so fuckign stupid is that the Legacy have been bitched out for months, and NOW they want to try and make them look strong? Fuck that. H was beating all 3 of their asses, and were supposed to believe they have a shot at the tag team that beat 5 dudes at the same time in convincing fashion? Lame.
