I really didn't think that legend of zelda ocarina of time was all that great. Clunky controls, rather uninspired items, and that flying spawn of satan navi (proof that nintendo hates us)
I'm also not a huge fan of Gears of War 2, or at least it's multuiplayer. What the hell is with the freakin lethal range on the shotgun? Good Lord, the sniper rilfe does less damage!
Also, I never figured out what the big deal was about FFVII (I've always like VI the most).
And of course, lets not forget the Madden series. Someone please explain to me the appeal of these games. They have 0-2 new feature a year, so you are basically palying the same game with no differences at all.

I know nothing about Final Fantasy 10. I will not call it X out loud when talking about it like so many people do because that is gay. Also, I got bored with 12 about 2 hours into it.

Final Fantasy II. Oh, how I fucking hated Two. Shit levelling system, monsters that you can't run away from before they turn your whole party into stone, monsters that use FUCKING MAGIC and monsters that are always faster than your team.
The music was good, however.
And no, I'm not referring to Final Fantasy IV (and especially not that Easytype shit you yankees got. Man, you guys always get fucked when it comes to games).

All of the Quake games. They're so boring and uninspired, especially the second and fourth games.
Halo 1 and 2- basically just that Quake 2 drabness with outdoor environments (3 was alright).
Grand Theft Auto games. They all handle horribly, almost every mission is exactly the same, and the sense of humor is just annoying.
Most war "simulations." Anyone ever notice that games like America's Army, Operation Flashpoint, and ArmA promise intense, immersive battles, but just almost all end up being the world's most buggy, plodding, and camper-friendly games in the world. The bug part is especially confusing I haven't played a sim that wasn't completely fucked from the release date. Hell, when Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon went arcade, they were virtually bug-free, compared to their earlier, more sim-styled games.

I didn't hate Final Fantasy II but what pissed me off about it was that it took a ridiculous amount of time to build up your spells to the point where they were worth a shit.

Oh fuck yes... It took me like four months to beat it. During that time I learned that if you have only one enemy on the screen and target the whole area anyway, it deals 25% more damage. It also builds the spell up faster - this could have been useful if not for the fact that I realized this by the time I was up against the Emperor in Pandaemonium... Also, the Emperor sucked as an End Boss. I don't know whether it was because my party was so pimped out equipment-wise (Blood Sword and Masamune working in tandem are a sight to behold - and if you're not playing the GBA port, there are TWO Blood Swords!) or because the enemy itself is hella easy. He went down in like twenty turns and I didn't even have to use a single Phoenix Down!

Hmmm let me think.
The Zelda Franchise - I just find them extremely dull and not exciting. I bought a N64 and started Ocarina of Time and just had to turn it off cause i just couldn't play it/get into it.
Dota - Even though its built inside Warcraft 3 i hate how people say its better. It's just shit and the people who play it are generally assholes.
FF8 - The story sucks, i didn't even have a clue what was happening half the time.

I loved FFII, but maybe that's just me. I dunno about the GBA port (they royally screwed up the level up system on the GBA port), but on the PSone version, leveling up spells is pretty easy. Targeting spells on the whole party as opposed to the enemy area levels up spells and HP at the same time.

Battle Theme 2 from FFII is one of my favorite themes from Nobuo, the game itself I found to be better than the original, but not as great as FFIII.

Any JRPG besides Final Fantasy - Little originality and generally make little sense
Marvel VS. Capcom 2 - Extremely unbalanced one you unlock more characters, especially using Iron Man/War Machine/Cable at the same time and you power up even if your moves are blocked on top of that, but I dont really "hate" it, just dislike its lack of balance.
Resident Evil 4/5 - Not really a hatred, but just dislike how they turned it into a shooter where you kill black people or something. I prefer the original adventure-type RE's.
Strike series - Tedious and frustrating - I prefer classic bullet hells or more action-y shooters.
Later FF's - basically the same formula as VII
That's all I can think of

Halo and Grand Theft Auto (all of them). That's about all I can think of, really.

Hilarious. I love Kid Icarus myself, but I do hate the fact that I can't duck on most stages...
I really don't "hate" any one game or franchise. I have my likes and dislikes, but that's about it....

I think what killed it for a lot of people was wasted potential. Bungee promised the moon and faked in-game cinematics, and just delivered a solid, yet repetitive shooter with boring settings.

Halo 1 is pretty good in single player, but the multiplayer, provided you can get more than 2 players, blows single player away. I only played Halo 2 multiplayer I think, but it was fun.
