Hey guys, I have been searching on the internet for information about this game, but most of the information seems completley false. For example there is a rumor going around and I am not so sure if it's true:
It’s believed to be set in SkyRim, North of Cyrodiil and West of Morrowind. You either play as Lord Nerevar or a new character.
If you play as Nerevar, you go to SkyRim to resolve rebellion and to stop a civil war.
If you play as a new character, you can be a general of the rebellion or follow the Legion.
It will be using a new engine built from the ground up, for long draw distance, 60FPS, and allowing tons of enemies on screen at once. As the final battle, if you choose to lead your army to war, will have hundreds of people in a fight.

Any valid leaks or information on the game would be much appreciated, or discuss about the game, I don't care... Also inb4 Dragons, MMO and adding marriage, those are stupid ideas.

He means north of the province in Oblivion, north of Cyrodil, cut him some slack.
I really hope this is real.

I guess I was wrong, I had always thought that Oblivion was based on the Source engine, but it was Gamebryo. It makes sense that they would want to update the engine a bit.

I'm currently playing through Oblivion on my new 360. Enjoying the hell out of it. Just finished the Fighter's Guild line, halfway through the Brotherhood and Mage Guild lines. Still haven't started the Thieves Guild or main quest.
That said. I really want the next Elder Scrolls game (or a blatant, but well done, rip off) for the Wii with Wiimotion +. After playing Wii Sports Resort, I can't fathom how awesome an Elder Scrolls game would be with it. The basic combat is perfect for it, I think.
And, I'd probably end up losing, like, 100 pounds. Elder Scrolls game for Wii = Nerds are new stereotype for physical perfection.
Also, Hi. I'm back.

I'm skeptical, though. If only because third parties have really given the Wii the shaft so far, pretty hard.
Most of the time, when they say something like that, we get things like Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles or Dead Space Extraction.

They could do it. Morrowind on the Xbox might look ass ugly, but it's definitely huge.

I honestly don't see any age differences between Oblivion and Fallout 3 (besides the fact that I can barely read the text on the Pip-Boy. Then again, I haven't tried on my new high-def set.)

For fuck's sake, did the volume range have to be so ridiculously large?
You can barely hear the first part so you turn up the sound before getting your ears destroyed.

Hey, Dead Space Extraction actually looks really good.

Bethesda's Todd Howard, speaking at QuakeCon 09 on the future of the Elder Scrolls series now that his company is officially done with Fallout 3.
Answering fan questions on the subject, Howard said that there are "no current plans" for a fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series.

yup, knyte is right:
Quote:
Bethesda is officially done with Fallout 3 -- Mothership Zeta was the final downloadable episode for the post-apocalyptic RPG. So that means that they're switching back to the Elder Scrolls now, right? Maybe not.
"We are working on our next big game but we are not talking about it," Bethesda game director Todd Howard said during his QuakeCon 2009 keynote (via the Big Download).
But that game is not Elder Scrolls V. Howard said that there are "no current plans" for another game in that series.
So right now, it's hard to say what Bethesda's next project will be. Who knows, we may actually be in for an entirely new IP. Or we might be in for an Elder Scrolls MMO, of which Howard jokingly said "there's always a chance."
