I highly recommend reading the book, hell just read the back of the book and that should entice you, whether it'll anger you or not. Hopefully the movie will do the same.

never read the book, but my friend recommended it, so i will eventually pick it up and read it. anyone read this before? or even care for this news?

Read it, it was alright. The stories get kind of samey after a while (like this guy mentioned, it all involves either sex or getting retardedly drunk.) That doesn't take away from the humor of a lot of them though--although (at least for me) its more fascination that anyone would want to tell ANYONE some of the shit he says he did, let alone publish it.

Even if you hate him and everything he stands for, though, won't stop you from laughing. He's a very good writer and knows how to tell a story.

Nah you can get most of the stories off his blog. Some are pretty funny, like when he got banned from all Best Westerns (or some hotel chain) nationwide for shitting all over the lobby while drunkenly searching for a bathroom.

You know now that I think about it most of the truly outrageous and hilarious stories involve accidental bowel evacuation, I wonder if those are going to make it in to the film. Confused
