Press LB to sparkle. Press RB to angst.
EDIT: I just saw that this might be an MMO. I think a part of my brain hemorrhaged.
Although, I guess that this means I won't see thousands of "Bedward Schmullen" sparkly vampire assholes after the eventual release of Champions Online (which all of you should play, by the way).

What's starting to kill me is the nerds who pick on Twilight. Sure, it's an angsty, badly-written piece of dreck, but it's kind of pathetic to see a group of people pick on it, pretending to know better, while 95% of comics and 97% of video games have terrible writing and stories. They bash the sparkles, but will go then will praise some JRPG for its twenty minute monologues on the power of the human heart spoken by a 12-year-old girl in a metal bikini.
Anyhow, my two cents: We need a 30 Days of Night type MMO. It'd be like Fallout 3, Warcraft, and Left 4 Dead.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind. |

I see your point, but those figures are quite high, what kind of gutter, bottom-feeding comics have you been reading?

I admit I'm exaggerating, but you know what I mean. "I LOVED SOMEONE ONCE BUT I CAN'T BE WITH THEM ANYMORE" gets a little bit old after a while.

You think they'll have a "disable the pickup truck" minigame?

Achieve the highest level and you'll unlock a side-story starring Jacob the werewolf. It'll be called "I LUV TWIGHLIGHT AND BELLA'S DAUGHTR AGEZ RLY FAST SO JAC0B'S NOT REALLY A PEDO".

Some videogames/movies./other media/etc is badly written, true. Sometimes the stories are really bad. But as both a pop culture geek and someone who has made a living teaching writing, I can tell you that Twilight deserves anything and everything it gets. I don't say that as someone picking on it because its fashionable to hate it right now, I say that as someone who has a deep love of the English language, and the novel as an art form. Stephanie Meyers represents everything bad, stupid, cynical, awful and exploitative that's happened to our culture in the last 50-odd years. She may be a wonderful and well meaning person *as* a person, but as a writer and storyteller, she is guilty as all hell, and needs to stop throwing down slop for the masses to devour because someone tells them its what they want.

Has Twilight really come this far? This is making me fear for humanity's progress. Once again I find myself agree with what Soldierhawk has said.
