That's right, I'm hitting the Oregon Trail and the first 4 people to post here will get to come with me. Once my crew is determined, we will then make bets on who dies first, who will make it to Oregon, or if we even make it to Oregon at all (safe bet says no). I'll chronicle the major events and post them here. So who wants to pioneer the great west with me?

Douche is in the wagon. Fine, I'll get 2000lbs of food but we're not stopping for drive-thru, and I ford anything 4 ft and under.

I'm already here, so I don't need to go.
Not, to mention I was born and raised in Oregon City, the offical end of the trail. And, know way too much about it, since that is the town's only claim to fame, and they stuffed it down our throats in school.

Who eats bear anyway? Alright, so Knyte's got a place for us to crash when we get there (non negotiable). We still have 3 more seats. There's also an old saying I just made up, only fairies wait for ferries.

I'm going to play the game and post screen shots as I go. At certain points I will ask for advice.
So my crew will be consisting of:

We will begin by letting everyone vote on who they think will die first. Feel free to list the order in which we all die or who all will make it there. I played it twice and so far I think the wagonleader (me) always dies last. The trip will begin in a couple hours, unless I fall asleep, in which case we set out tomorrow morning.

This reminds me of something they did on Attack of The Show back in 2005. They called it the MMOregon Trail. Basically they ran the game and let the fans vote on what they would do when they got to certain locations and they also voted on how to handle the rivers. It was pretty interesting.
