Speaking of Guilty Gear, how many versions of XX are we going to see?

Give your sister 20 bucks of little over 10 even.. and be like alright now the wii is just as much yours as mine... and bam... Or give your parents 20 bucks, i'm presuming they bougtht the bulk of it, adn tell them this is for the wii, becuase Michelle (which i'm guessing is your sistser's name) won't let me use it, because she says it's hers, since she gave you guys 20 bucks to help pay for it.
Then you're even and you can be like here little 8 year old sister were now either going to alternate whose room it's in... or put it somewhere where we both can freely play it. Then you can charge your sister a per use fee for her to use your 360.

As for as the Wii verse other consoles..
PErsonally I think the wii was aimed at younger audiences, hoping to bank on mother's purchasing it, who have much more money than the average teenager who is the hard-core gamer. So it was a sound marketing plan... wii targets a different audience than x-box and ps3, and thus they can get away with worth graphics, and less game variety.
Personally I really only like Wii Sports, SSBB, and this New Punch out game interest me... since I beat it on the original NES when I was a kid. Well my older brother did... I only got to Mike Tyson, and later beat him on an emulator without using saves to help.

Have you never watched a Wii Commercial? Who do they show playing Wii? Kids, Teenagers, Adults, Elderly People? I'm just going out on a limb here but I'm going to say that everyone is being targeted by Nintendo. And why would Mother's buy their little children game consoles but give a proverbial fuck you to their "older" children? Nintendo has "worth" (Do you type in lisp?) graphics because they wanted their system to be econoimcal for casual gamers and those new to the market. They also have the highest variety in game types. Do you have a properly functioning brain?

Trade in your week-old copy of Punch-Out and we'll give you TEN WHOLE DOLLARS FOR IT!!!
(And then we'll sell it for for 44.99) |
...And people look at me crazy when I say shit like that about 'Gameshit,' or why I don't Trade games in (Especially not to that store).
I'd rather (Well, not really) do business with Game Crazy...

Trading in or selling back games or CDs to stores has always been a scam, and anyone who does it these days is a huge sucker. Not only will the stores give you next to nothing back for the game, but Ebay has made it possible to sell a slightly used game for a not-quite-new price that will always be higher than what any store will give you.
I just recently sold all of my PAL Wii games on Ebay (since I'll be moving back to the states soon) and got on average about 75% of the price I paid for them new. Stop being suckers, guys.
On the same token, stop going to these shops to buy new games for retarded prices. The internet has pretty much opened up all possibilities of getting any game you want, usually for cheaper than any store, if you're patient enough to wait a couple days for shipping, especially older games.
And yea, the Wii is a great console and has quite a library of decent games, but the gimmicky motion controls really let it down and ruin almost any of them. I really hope that the Wii's success hasn't convinced all other manufacturers to go with shitty motion bullshit for the next gen..

The one thing that GameStop has over eBay is convenience. eBay is a great place to buy shit, but I would never sell there. It's too much fucking work.

Yea, it can be a pain in the ass, but I guess one has to decide if that extra work is worth an extra 50% value for the games you're selling. To me, it is.

My friends and I are boycotting GameStop after my friend bought a new copy of Kingdom Under Fire:
Circle of Doom. He found out that it was just a shitty spinoff, and went to return it the next day only to be informed that since he bought it new, he couldn't return it. They did offer him $4 store credit, and the advice to buy used next time. It's all a scam. If he doesn't take the offer, they still have his cash. If he does take the offer, they give him store credit that he can use on some other game while they have a title that they can sell used and 90% of his money. Then, once they sell the used title at $5 less than the new price, they have 95% of the original value of the game on top of that, and they don't have to give any money to the publisher.
Also, it's nice that I have to have my 360 on top of my new TV stand instead of inside it, lest it overheat. Seriously, Microsoft, it's called cooling. It's sort of a necessary function.

So, my 360 is giving me trouble. I think something is loose inside or burnt because now I can't get an image when I power up my 360. I have an elite and it was hooked up using the HD component cable. I tried switching to a different input on my tv and I was able to get sound and no image. I tried using the standard cables and wasn't able to get sound or image. I tried a different TV but got the same results. So, I concluded that it's my 360 messing up and not the cables.
Anyone experience this before? Any suggestions before I call tech support? Is tech support full of people from New Delhi?

I had some video issues with my 360 right before it red ringed. It was a launch 360 so I'd had it for nearly 3 years when it happened.
I just want to add that while yes, it's annoying when a 360 red rings, MS is very good about getting you a box, and either fixing or replacing it really quick. Both mine and my wifes have malfunctioned at some point (my wife had the E74 error which is different but still covered) and both were returned within a week., at no charge to us.
As for Gamestop, I will buy new games there OCCASIONALLY, but it's not my first choice, but sometimes they have better deals. I will NEVER buy used from gamestop.
Also I would NEVER trade in a game in to Gamestop. On the same page, ANYBODY who pays the $15 for the club they offer so they can rip you off just a little bit less (10% more trade in value) is an idiot. I would go into the math on this, but I'm sure if you just think about it you can figure it out.
Ebay is a great way to sell or buy used games. It's not THAT much of a hassle to sell something, and it's just a little wait for bought games.
anyway, that's my take.

I got the red rings a few months ago, didn't bother fixing it because i wanted to play my DS more often. So, a few weeks ago, i was at my local gamecrazy and one of the workers says i can just leave it on red rings and it'll fix.
Lo and behold, it does. For about a week and a half, which is the timeframe he gave me. So i decide to cook it.
My fucking sister steals my power brick because "prank wars are fun!"
I hate that bitch.

I mean really you should fix it ASAP just to get it out of the way, and so your warranty doesn't run out, it'll take a week or so anyway. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, just trying to help you not lose money in the long run.
