Nice one, not bad by any means. Just one thing, though: Where was it 20 days ago? Not to mention those News posts. How come we're only seeing them today?

20 days ago, it was on the server. In fact, 20 days ago, it was the #1 Google search result for "PrintMaster Plus 2.0", with the quotation marks. It also wasn't quite done...

Great article Syd! I too feel something for Printmaster...I don't know if I can call it nostalgia, because of one psychologically scarring session of trying to print a proper birthday card for my mom with it many moons ago...but I do remember it.
I really liked this article, actually. I love all of your articles of course, but this is a bit of a digression from the usual I feel, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

The card feature too brought me back to a time when I had would make cards for my parents on PrintShop Gold (I think) on my Windows 3.11 Hewit Packard PC. I still can fold those like a pro!

Great article Syd. That took me back to when I was a kid using some kind of PrintMaster on the apple IIe. All I remember that I was so upset that the screen would show my card as green and the printer would print it out in black. What was up with that?

Hmmm, I don't know. Green was generally the substitue for white on the old school Apples.

Green was also a popular monochrome monitor color. I had several black-and-green monitors.

Yes, that should have been mentioned as well.
I'm not sure, but I believe black/green was actually the ONLY monochrome monitor designed for the Apple II. All the black/white Apple II monitors I ever encountered had color support.

The oldest computer my family ever owned was a Tandy. It had a word possessor and a music program where you could make your own crappy tunes and that was about it.
Old computer technology will always be a source of amusement. How the hell did we ever survive before hi-speed internet?
Also, I'll bet Roberta Williams would have killed to have those crappy images when making Mystery House. That way she wouldn't have had to draw everything by hand....

No. In fact, I'm going to try and write the 100th article in its entirety tomorrow. Knowing me, I'll fail miserably at doing so. But that's the plan. It is Nintendo-related.

Yes, and it will continue to be "tomorrow" for another 9.5 - 12.5 hours depending on where you live.
And I've had to clean all day, because SOMEONE apparently thinks there's infinite storage space at my house. And that someone is most likely going to have to rent themselves a Pod.

Eh, it's probably not happening, as I'm just starting now and I'm fairly dehydrated. But I shall try.

Printmaster 2.0.
Not much for this one, seeing as I never had one and it never came up for me. Nice attempt, but I'll eagerly await your next article on something cool.

Something Nintendo related you say? Let's try to guess what it is. My guess is that Syd will be eating a box of this stuff:

Shake it, Quake it, Space Kaboom. |

I wish. Last unopened box I saw on eBay went for $199. I didn't bid, cuz I figured there'd be another box sooner or later. Nope

If you eat another ancient box of 1980's kitsch food we are all officially changing your name to the "Nostalgia Geek". Just saying.
