I got this at Best Buy for 10$, don't remember much about it from my childhood except that he's a duck, and it was really weird. Gonna watch it tonight, so am I in for a treat, or a snoozfest?

And the Principal from Ferris Bueller turns into a giant scorpion! Which scared the crap out of me as a kid. And George Lucas made it.

Didn't Ron Howard direct it too? I always had a thing for Marty's Mom.

Isn't there a shot of duck boobs at the begining? This is all I remember from the movie.

I loved this movie, it's cheesy as hell and it's worth every penny.

Too much hype for nothing. You absolutely paid too much for bargain bin material.

Oh come on, it's not THAT bad. Well, it is, but I think $10 is a reasonable price. I wouldn't pay any more and I'd certainly expect it to be less but ten would be the high end.

Yeah, I have a bad habit of buying too many dvds, I have the entire first season of the History Chanel's UFOs Fact or Fiction? boxset, and I don't even give a damn about UFOs. It's boring as hell.

You know what? Fuck the haters. Howard the Duck was the most awesomely bad movie ever. I don't care that it reviewed horribly, and in fact Ebert can choke on a wall of dicks for not liking it. Yeah it was cheesy. That's kinda the point. Plus Lea Thompson half naked = yes!
Besides, it's a movie about a talking duck. Who thought it was gonna win an Oscar?

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |

The Dark Overlord in his "true" form at the end was pretty scary to me as a kid.
I wouldn't mind seeing that movie again.
