I have a way harder time in that game with the axe guys. I know it's a timing thing but I always get beat up by them.

I've heard of people having problems with the first Mega Man game, but I never did.
Also, I just beat Ninja Gaiden on the NES a few hours ago and I really didn't have any trouble.

I always have trouble with the jumping knights in the final temple. Those assholes always fuck me up

^ same here. The fire-bird things too. The Great Palace in general is stupidly hard in comparison to the rest of the game.

I hear a lot of people say how hard Earthbound Zero is... I beat the whole game (in Japanese no less), and the game was moderately hard, but nowhere near as impossible as people claimed. I got through Duncan's Factory on my first try, and Mt. Itoi was easy if you knew what you're doing. So really, why do so many people say the game's hard?

I don't. Compared to Super C and Contra 3 on hard mode, the original Contra is a breeze! Plus, if you play the game a lot, you can beat it easily without the 30-lives cheat. I managed to do it when I was younger.
