Finished the main quest today, and now I'm working on Rydia's story.

I was level 99 with all Onion Equipment and all he was able to do before I killed him was Black Hole that was it.

I guess you wait. I played it for an hour or so. This game seems really easy. I hope they start to get progressively harder at some point.

I think the next set of chapters will be out on July 6. I also finished Rydia's story today. So many random encounters. Makes the Earth Cave in FF1 look like a cakewalk.

Wow, I had no idea this was going to be such an ambitious project, are the styles and presentation going to change at all as they progress??

I've enjoyed what I played so far, and I think the price in the end will be worth it. Plus it's cool seeing how some of the stories overlap each other.

I beat the first chapter today, and I'm pretty sure I want to wait to play the next ones until they are ALL out. Especially if they all are gonna be about 3 hours in length. I hate waiting for installments...

I do this with comics all the time. That is why when I find a story arc that sounds interesting, I usually wait until they are all out until I get into it, otherwise the waiting kills me.
I also find it interesting how large (and expensive) the last chapter is in relation to all of the others.

I do not want to play or pay for Edward's tale unless it involves his death.
Seriously? Who the fuck wants to learn about a bard for 3 hours?
Fuck that.
When do the tales start to link together (character & gear sharing)?

Dude this game is fucking sweet. Final Fantasy IV was my first Final Fantasy (yeah, I didn't catch it in my NES days, FF II the US was my first, it being one of three games I got for my shiny new SNES circa 1991) and this game not only sets off my Nostalgia Bomb, but goes one further by allowing us another full fledged go in my favorite game world. Just about the ONLY thing that is pissing me off about this game is the installments bit. I'd pay Nintendo an extra $20 (bringing this game on par with a $59.99 new game) just to give me the whole fucking thing now.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |

I have no intention of doing so. I just figured people wouldn't mind having the full list of band moves. Though I must admit, I haven't been able to get the one between Ceodore and the Hooded Man to work yet, must require a certain amount of play into the game to get.

You learn that one automatically. Also there is one between Kain and Ceodore, that I noticed a lot of places didn't have listed. Not sure if that list has it, since I can't access it at work.

I still don't understand how the stories bring the inventory together. When does that happen?

For $37, you'd almost wish they released it for $39.99 as a retail game.

I would have paid $50-$60 if this was a regular retail game. I wouldn't have even bitched about using a game engine from the early 90's. I fucking love FFIV.

Yup it's there and says Double Jump can be learned in Part 2 of the Final Chapter.
One of the late chapters is all about gathering everyone, but that's probably a month or so away release-wise.

Aren't they offered in order?
I picked the two in order of the download list.
I am trying to play this chronologically if it is in any way possible.
