So, has anyone seen anything about this game? FPS for the Wii, with online multiplayer? I guess we will have to wait and see, but from what I have witnessed, this game could be really fun.

Online multiplayer supports up to 12 players and has voice chat, via Wii Speak, but voice chat is only allowed with people on the same team, as to cut down on clutter with 12 people speaking at the same time.

The complaints so far have mostly dealt with the generic single player game, and that the single player game just felt like "a chore"

I don't think anyone cares about single player FPS games anymore, which is sad. Half Life 2 set the bar ridiculously high, and I don't give a shit if a Wii game lives up to that standard. The majority of people buying this just want to shoot people.

Yea, I meant to make a thread for this earlier. I got it day one and I love it.

I actually love the single player experience, its fairly generic but all I have is a Wii.

Also, the controls make this game, you can customize them in real time to a ridiculous extent. If you enjoyed the first Perfect Dark on the N64 you will love this.

The multiplayer effort is fantastic for it being a Wii-title as well.

Bought it, haven't played it yet. I've heard the controls are very tight and very customizable, the primary visuals are excellent, and the multiplayer is great. I've also heard that some of the secondary background textures are kinda shoddy (i.e. when you look out a window) and the AI is flawed.

Dude, those people that bitch about the AI sucking and completing the game too fast are pussies. They just played through on the easy/standard difficulty. If you jack up the difficulty the AI can get pretty intense (running to and using cover, waiting for backup, etc..

I have been playing on the high difficulty level (one less than severe) and the game has been killing me at parts.

But yea, the controls are unbelievable once you get them how you like them.

It's a good game, but there's just something missing about it. I'm only about halfway through the single-player mode, and I can't find the motivation to finish it.

Also, for whatever reason, the multiplayer doesn't like to work for me. I've only been successful in 1/5 attempts, usually I just go to some brown and blue, blurry screen where I can't turn, shoot, walk, or anything. All I can do is listen to the other players jumping and shooting.

I didn't particularly enjoy the multiplayer the one time it worked, but maybe that's because I didn't know how to target enemies at the time. Embarrassed Although I did go 30-5 one game. Razz

And if anybody can give me some numbers to make the controls similar to Metroid Prime 3, I'd appreciate it. Metroid's controls were amazing out of the box, but I still can't get The Conduit's right.
