The whole ninja's versus pirates thing always makes me laugh. I'm a big history nerd so I know that most pirates were lucky to live past twenty, but ninja's also actually spent a lot of they're time living a normal life dressed as a normal man (or woman, sometimes when they were men!) which included lots of heavy drinking

May have been covered in their first article about these things.

You had to be there. It was...alternately horrible and yet hilarious at the same time. To this day, this question/argument is banned in quite a few MST3K boards/communities.
The correct answer though, in case anyone was wondering, is Mike.

No I know the argument but I was wondering why it wasn't on the list. I have damn near had screaming matches over that. And it's Joel.

OH! My mistake, I totally misinterpreted your question, because the Mike vs. Joel debate is noted on their first geek argument list, which I just read:
http://www.toplessrobot.com/2009/05/the_10_most_famous_geek_arguments.php
I got the two lists mixed up as I was looking at them both, and read your post as questioning Mike vs. Joel's place on a list. My apologies.
....But its still Mike.

I never saw a single soul using a Mac in my life, so I don't know why there is an argument between PC and Mac users.

The subs vs dubs argument can be a complicated one. Such as anyone who bashes dubs looks at One Piece and yet even sub fans can deny Cowboy Bebop has a decent dub. I'm haven't seen a bad 'sub' mostly because i lose track of the subtitles and sometimes make shit up.

For me, it's simple. I have some trouble understanding spoken English, and the French dubs usually suck twice as much as the English ones, so subs it is. And I read fast, too.
I don't even know if there's a network for anime here. The only anime I know that currently airs is Naruto and, well...

10. Dub wins so long as it's done well; if the voice acting and/or script writing suck, then subs.
9. Who fucking cares?
8. Robocop.
7. Death Star. Unicron is just the embodiment of the old/fat Orson Welles, and no one liked the old/fat Orson Welles.
6. PC. Macs are for hippies.
5. Don't really care.
4. SNES wins, but Genesis had its share of awesome games too.
3. Hmm, I guess Alien.
2. TRUKK, as I always enjoyed the cheesy G1 cartoons over all the others.
1. Kirk.

One of my brothers uses a Mac, and the interface is incredibly convoluted. I don't know why/how people would prefer it over PC.

I'm partial to Joel. Although, as the article implied, he was the first one i started to watch.
And i've been looking up Doctor Who, as of 2010, there will apparently be 10 incarnations of the character, that's just insane, but an effective way in keeping the series going.

I'm not a Star Trek fan.
But I think Patrick Stewart > William Shatner any day of the week.

I like this list better...
Freddy...he attacks you in your sleep. Thus making you paranoid as fuck. You can hide from Jason or scare him away in the day time but you will always have to face Freddy eventually.
Critters...Simply because Raph goes to see it in the first Turtles Movie
Scorpion..."Come Here" followed by an uppercut, anything better?
Street Fighter...Tough decision but I have a lot more fun playing against people in street fighter.
Tekken...Namco, it was a fun ass game and the music and most of the characters are awesome. I could do with out Jack and all his incarnations.
Stallone...again a toss up but he gave me Rocky which I treasure more than Terminator. Rocky IV is in my top 3 movies all time.
Lundgren...see above. Van Damme can suck my balls.

*raises hand* guilty, probably because I love Patrick Stewart. But honestly, I also love the fact that Picaard is an *explorer*. He's fascinated by the wonders of the universe he travels through. Kirk...was more interested in, as observed, punching aliens in the face (or screwing them.) The explorer aspect is probably why I like Captain Archer better than Kirk too (and will watch Enterprise over TOS every time.)
Oh, and just for the record, I honestly have nothing against Joel, he was great. I just prefer Mike's character.

Ooh, Archer is one of the many reasons why I hated Enterprise. He was boring and incompetent; perhaps that's more of an indictment on Bakula's poor acting in the series, though.

Wow, that's just shocking to me. TOS is very hit or miss, but their hits are oustanding, while almost every episode of Enterprise was a boring retread of previous Trek episodes.
