I'm sure a lot of you have heard this story already, but if you haven't, here's an excellent summary of it:
http://drakegta.com/tattoo-artists-no-respect-or-lonely-tattooist-seeks-naive-young-wife/
So what do you think? Did the guy fuck with her? Or did she ask for 56 stars and immediately regret it?
I wish more girls would get their first tattoo on their face or in some other readily visible place. Because a tattoo says something about a girl. It says, "Hey, I like tattoos." At which point I say, "Hey, I have absolutely no desire to date you."

I've always been taught that there's rules about inking people.
- Drunk people make poor decisions, so wait for them to sober up.
- Always confirm and re-confirm and re-re-confirm if someone wants a tattoo on their face/neck/hands.
- It's bad luck to get a portrait tattoo of a living person.
But as far as this story goes, I was told that the girl specifically asked for all the tattoos and then changed her story when the dad saw and flipped out over it. I would say the blame is equal between the girl and the tattooist.

Not only is that story almost 2 weeks old, the girl came out pretty much the day after and admitted that she lied to try to prevent getting her dad pissed at her.

What a dumb-ass. Face tatoos are kind of tricky, as in they almost always suck and look really tacky. The stars are incredibly ugly and sucks that she put heat on the artist for her dumb idea. She should have gotten something cool like skeletons pissing fire on her face. That would have been awesome.

I don't see the big deal. A little battery acid will take those right off.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |

That's just a matter of picking a good tattoo artist. I don't have a photo handy, but my dad's got one of his dad that's pretty amazing.

I love tattoos. As an artist, I see it as a cool connection to art by becoming the canvas. Still, I think very hard about what I want inked. My first tattoo is a black sun on my bicep. It looks rather tribal, but it's from the first comic book I was ever published in, and therefore has a special meaning that I don't mind explaining to people. My next one, which is half paid for, will be the Keith clan crest and a Keith banner, as that is my last name.

I had one, and had it removed. Having been down the road once already, I don't think I'd ever want to do it again. Unless I had a good idea for something with a profound meaning to me, I don't think I'd ever be truly happy with any design for my entire life.

I've got a Celtic knot similar to this one on my inner arm where I can see it while playing guitar. The background was forest green (faded now everyone insists it looks aqua but it doesn't! and the knot pattern itself is kind of a shaded gray made to look metallic)

I can understand ear rings and maybe a tattoo on the shoulder, but this is crazy.

Thirded. The one tat I do really want and plan to go through with is a hawk's head--the one from my avatar there--on my back (upper shoulderblade). I considered bicep too since it would be much easier to see, but...I dunno. It just doesn't work for me.
As for the ridiculous chick, I have nothing to say. I'll leave it at good for the tattoo guy paying to get them removed, even though he didn't have to. She tried to fuck him over, he replayed it with kindness. for him.

She might as well have "I'm a fucking moron" tatooed on her forehead.

No kidding. Also, I know she was drunk...but dude. Sleeping through a tattoo session? On her FACE? That was NOT just alcohol. (Or maybe I'm not giving alcohol enough credit. But yeowch.)

The transition from photo to skin did something awful to that bride.
