This is a thread to talk about an insanely fun addition to the great gaming variety that is the RPG- This addition is the SNES classic 'Illusion of Gaia'.

This was one of those games that I used to (And still do) love with a passion, even though it seemed no one that I knew ever heard of it.

If you don't believe me when I say that this game is awesome, then you know nothing, and don't deserve to be viewing my thread. Also, I would like to point out to these non-believers the fact that this #22 of Syd's 100 greatest SNES games of all time.

Despite my love of this game, I was never able to get past the third major boss (Those two vampires... I think...) without my game being erased by one of my three younger siblings. Curse you Chris, Camron, and Cassidy... What with your alliterative names and your ability to erase my saved utilities...

Anyway, enough about my failed attempts at beating the game without my saved data being destroyed by my immediate kin... Feel free to talk about this game here.

L is not really justice. It is just a clever repetetive metaphor that shows the idea and concept that he, as a human being, upholds a need for physical and mental righteousness...

However, I am Justice, and am therefore smarterer than him.

Chris, Cameron, Cassidy.....let me guess, your name is Craig.

Anyway, I own the game but have yet to play it....I hope that brings a tear to your eye. Very Happy

I always thought it was the best of the Soul Blazer series, and is in my personal top 10.

Cool game that could be longer and have a much better ending.
I still like Terranigma better. At least in this one I actually felt bad for the fate of the hero.

It was an interesting game to say the least.

I once played it from beginning to end in 12 hours. Straight. With no breaks.

12 years later I'm still wondering if I should be proud or ashamed of such a feat.

I loved the hell outta that game, it was a great blend of puzzle solving, action, and ample enough ass whupping as Fabio. Granted one thing always confused me as a kid and even more after 7 years of band class and 2 years of marching band. How the hell is that flute able to slay a vampires, disarm a bomb and still be able to play songs like nobody's business?!

I think it's a Yamaha.

I bought it the other spring from a used game shop since I missed out on it when I was younger. Since then, it became one of my favorite SNES titles.

Ah, well then, that explains everything, I forgot that Yamaha instruments had vampire slaying powers... my trombone's an Olds, all that has is a +5 against outsiders
