You guys know what an arcade is, right. Like that, except instead of a building with machines, it's a flash arcade with leaderboards and stuff.

SRK had one for some time, and you could get a little icon/title if you were the forum champion at a game. It was interesting to see who was the champion at certain games, and read their posts to see what they were like. I dunno why they took the arcade down, though.

Well, I knew two brazilian forums that prized flash arcade top-scorers with all sorts of nice gadgets. Unfortunately as of February 2009, the prizes were abolished but the games remained. Nevertheless, I don't know if that was any good idea (the prize part, that is). I only know sites that specialize in rewardng people that play flash games, such as Kiwibox and Egglad, but those aren't forums.

In order for this to happen, the site would need its own proprietary games. I have designed about three or four, but I can't program or afford to pay someone to program them. And I'd need someone who could link the games on a leaderboard system too.

Aren't there members of this forum with makeshift programming skills? The games don't need to be complex to be fun, challenging & competitive. Shooters can be very simple.
