I didn't know this was out. I'll be looking to buy it and praying that a fucking light saber Star Wars game comes out.

They made the one about Darth Vader's apprentice. It was fun, but definitely not the type of control that the motion plus will offer.

I bought TW PGA 10. I suck at it, but it is damn fun. The Wii Motion Plus is great. I can't wait for more games to use it.

I just shot a -15 on St Andrews. I hit every green in regulation and pretty much destroyed every record on my game.

I don't have a SD slot on this laptop, but I took some pictures of it and will upload them at some point from another machine to prove that I got the score. I only wish the round could have been recorded.

Fucking destroyed that shit.

I fucking did it again. I hit a bogey this time, but made up for it with another eagle!

My pictures from the other day came out better but they are on my wife's camera. I had to do this with my Mac's iSight, which sucks ass as a camera.

After posting two amazing scores at St. Andrews I went on to finish the final two rounds with a 63 and a 62. As far as golf scores go, that is fucking amazing.

What is more amazing is how hard the computer had to adjust to my first two rounds. They actually had 1 player shoot a 55 in round three, and 3 players shot 56's in round 3. Also two players shot 56's in round 4.

This is absolute bullshit. Just because I did well doesn't mean the game has to ramp up the difficulty to impossible.

Why am I upset about these scores? In history only one recorded round of golf ever ended with a score of 55 on 18 holes. It was a par 70 course. St. Andrews was a par 71. That means that the guy in my game who shot a 55 broke the world record after having a first round of 71 and a second round of 69. He did what no other golfer has done in the history of the game. Congradu-fucking-lations. How the fuck is that acceptable?

More obnoxious is that all the other dudes who posted 56's tied the world record, some of them two days in a row. Ass, fucking ass.

Why did they do so well? Because they had to compete with my two 57's and the AI ramps up the other golfers. Perhaps something is fucking flawed when I can shoot a 57 at all. Or I just fucking did well at learning the game. Seriously though, I think the problem is that when you start out your career mode golfer he/she really sucks. If you beef them up to about 50% on stats though, they are amazingly good.

In case anyone bothers to read my rant and cares, I play on normal mode with all-play turned off. I use precision putting mode. I have also been told by many people that I have a very nice golf swing in real life. Of course when they used to tell me that I weighed 105lb and couldn't fucking hit the ball more than 125 yards. I wonder how I'd do now. I guess there is only one way to find out!

My score of 236 broke the current real world 72 hole stroke record by quite a bit. In fact the record is currently 254. So I beat it by 18 strokes.

Still, it wasn't good enough.

As you will note, at a minimum the top 6 players shot under the world record for single round scores. You would need to shoot -19 on a round to get a 53. That means a person would need to shoot all birdies and one eagle.

I am playing the game on "Normal" difficulty and yet the AI is simply designed not to let a player win in some scenarios.

EA, what is wrong with your game?

I don't want the game to be easier. I want it to be possible though. A 53 is impossible in golf. In the entire history of the sport no one has ever shot even close to that. If they need to ramp up the difficulty to make me shoot higher scores, then that is fine, but don't make it impossible.

To put this in perspective of other games, this would be as though the designers of Zelda just forgot to give you the Silver Arrow. It isn't harder, it is fucking impossible.
