Care to elaborate a little better? I'm pretty sure our tastes in movies differ somewhat.

Perhaps a blog entry would be more enlightening? Or are you on hiatus from that?

Well, can't say that this wasn't expected. I always liked how the commercial said "Directed by Micheal Bay", like he's some kind of new awesome director on par with Steven Spielberg or George Lucas.

The second you said that there will be spoilers I stopped reading. Sorry bud, but I'm going to go and see for myself.

Here's all you really need to know:
The action scenes are better, but the plot is even worse and more ridiculous. They also made the same huge mistake from the first movie of making humans the center of the plot instead of the giant fucking robots. If you liked the first one, you might like this, but this is decidedly worse than the first movie.

I will probably rent it from Netflix so I can see how horrible it is from the comfort of my own home, and not having to shell out ten bucks.
Edit:
After reading Jeebus', the Onion's, and Ebert's reviews, and realizing this movie is an amazing 2 1/2 hours long, I think I'm not even going to rent it. I don't want to waste that much time on a bad movie. 90-100 minutes I can rationalize, but not 150.

I thought it was going to end with your untimely demise via eating 20-year old boxes of Koala Yummies?

I must be the only person on this planet that thinks that Megan Fox is the most overrated actress in recent memory. Her acting skills are somewhat lacking, and she's not that attractive. I just don't get the love-fest people have for her.

I have his collection "Your Movie Sucks". All the movies in this book have no more than 1 1/2 stars, and Ebert really lays into some of these movies. He can be really funny when he has just wasted 2 hours watching a piece of celluloid crap and is forced to write about it.

I figured it blew, but I'm still going to go see it. A few friends want to go, and I'm not paying for the ticket.

Seriously. His review of "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo" is *priceless.* From what I hear, Rob Schneider didn't take to kindly to it either. (Although he was still classy enough to send flowers while Ebert was in the hospital--signed them "your least favorite actor" lol--si I guess we can't judge too harshly.)

It will end with me, alone in a fallout shelter, playing Contra III on a Super Nintendo. Meanwhile, North Korea launches nuclear missiles at Japan, setting off a chain reaction of missile launches resulting in a massive global holocaust. Savatage's "This Isn't What We Meant" plays over the scene.

Thank you! My co-workers saw it and, loved it and gave me a a couple obvious spoilers. I'm older than these guys by 5-10 years. They all chewed me out for not liking the first and saying how the sequel looked lame.
They were saying how badass the Devastator was. I tried to turn them on to the original cartoon movie where you have a Transformer planet but they were too busy talking about Megan Fox...their loss on both counts...new Devastator looks like crap(the fan-made CGI was perfect http://media.photobucket.com/image/devastator/koolphoenix/devastator.jpg...and Megan Fox, I'm just not seeing her as the bombshell she is cracked up to be.

I don't find Megan Fox attractive either, and she's even admitted that she's a terrible actress.

This started when Schneider complained about DB:EG not being in the running for an Academy Award. Film critic Patrick Goldstein of the Los Angeles Times gave a response stating "...[that was because] nobody had the foresight to invent a category for Best Running Penis Joke Delivered by a Third-Rate Comic."
Schneider took offense to that, and took out an ad saying that Goldstein had never won any journalistic awards, namely a Pulitzer Prize. Schneider responded by saying "Maybe you didn't win a Pulitzer Prize because they haven't invented a category for Best Third-Rate, Unfunny Pompous Reporter Who's Never Been Acknowledged by His Peers."
At that point, Ebert's review of DB:EG came out, and he pointed out that Goldstein had, in fact, won some journalism awards. Ebert conceded that Goldstein may not have won a Pulitzer Prize, but "...as chance would have it, I have won the Pulitzer Prize, and so I am qualified. Speaking in my official capacity as a Pulitzer Prize winner, Mr. Schneider, your movie sucks."
It took off from there...although that was classy on Schneider's part to send him the flowers. Ebert thanked him and said that Schneider may have made a bad movie, but he wasn't a bad man.

Thank God I'm not the only one. All my co-workers think that I'm gay or something for not thinking she's attractive...but then again, a lot of my co-workers are in the 17-19 age range.
