Hello, greetings, and all those other things. Just got a 42" plasma screen TV and I was wondering what TVs and sound people have. I've got some kinda 5.1 something with sound, but I'm not really sure since it's been there since before I was born. Anyway, yeah. TVs and Sound. GO!

42" Samsung HL-R4266w DLP TV
Onkyo TX-SR605 Receiver
Polk 5.1 Home Theater Speaker Package

It is great for an apartment, when I get a house I want a 55" TV and a receiver that can handle 4 or 5 HDMI inputs.

65" Sharp Aquos LCD TV
Sony Audio Receiver
Samsung Upscaling DVD Player, through HDMI
Comcast/Motorola HDDVR Cable Box, through HDMI

My parents' have an approximately 104" Projector screen in HD, with stereo sound though. Pretty sweet Home Theatre setup there.

Mine's a 20 inch, TV/VCR/DVD player combo, of which only the TV portion still works. I literally ripped the DVD tray out of it in a fit of rage because it kept freezing on any DVD put into it after a few minutes of playing. The VCR still works, but I got rid of my tapes years ago in favor of DVDs. Oh, and there's no remote either because the sensor on the TV that picks up the the signal from it is dead.

I do have A/V ports though thankfully

In my room, I got a stupid RCA 15" I still use. I've had it since 1999.

Just bought a 32" HDTV from work for $299. God, I love clearance.

Although getting the Genesis, SNES, Saturn, and N64 to look half-decent is going to be a bitch.

A 29" from the mid-late '90s, a twenty dollar DVD player, a two hundred dollar VCR that's five or six years old, the maybe half a metre between my couch and the TV, which sits proudly on the floor. That's all I need for my home video watching. I used to have cable but really got bored with most of it, so now I just buy everything on home video and watch the CBC occasionally. It's a good life.

<Drew_Linky> Well, I've eaten vegetables all of once in my life.
