No, it's not the title of a JRPG taking place in Chicago (yes I know about Shadow Hearts). I find myself at a 5 way crossroads. Having finally beaten Mr. Sandman (with about an hour of retries to get his pattern down) and making it to Title Defense mode on Punch-Out!! I've decided to set it aside and start up on a new console game. With so many options to me, I'm leaving what I play next to the forums.

* Front Mission 4 (PS2). I found out I missed a bunch of extra equipment from not messing around with the dialogue sections so I'm going to start over from scratch, with a possible Lets Play since I've actually played this game a decent length of time.

* Dragon Quest VIII (PS2). This was on my to-play list for a very long time and only recently have I picked it up.

* Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors (Wii). This has been sitting on my shelf for roughly a month after the game came out.

* Persona 4. I've had this since Christmas Eve and haven't brought myself to playing it until I could devote a good amount of time to it. Every time the notion to play it would pop up, it'd be like 2-3 a.m. on a work night.

So what do you guys think I should choose?

I nominate Persona 4.

I used to have Dragon Quest VIII, however I got rid of it at a local video game/CD store for store credit. I played it for two hours and it was very, very boring. In fact, that's one of the very few games that, within the first hours of playing, did not catch my interest in any way whatsoever.

The only game I know in that is Dragon Quest VIII. I played for a bit and it was decent, but I couldn't stand the characters' voices and bitched about it in every cutscene.

Persona 4. One of the best RPGs on one of the best systems for RPGs. Dragon quest VIII was good in a classic RPG way, but persona is fresh and challenging and rewarding.

Finish TD, because I must always spout my silly opinions on how JRPGs are the bane of video game existence.

I voted Persona as well. I have yet to play them, but I hear they are fucking fantastic.
