I love this show. I'm watching an episode where it's Knights against Pirates. Personally, I think the Pirates might have it since they can shoot fucking cannons and they utilized gunpowder in their time. Knights are crazy to though. Superior close range weapons, like a mace, would take a head off in seconds. I dunno, kind of a stupid debate, but it would be awesome to actually see these fights if it were possible. Samurai vs. Ninjas, Spartans vs. Gladiators, who wouldn't want to watch that.

Its a bit sensationalistic for me, but it is fun to watch. I'm waiting for Pirates vs. Ninjas.

It would be more fun to me if they had less of the "expert" guys talking shit to each other. It's always the same routine

Guy 1: Well, there's no way for a [whatever] to avoid this [weapon].
Guy 2: Well I'm not just gonna stand still, it's easy to hit a stationary target

yawn yawn

I say they cut em down to 30m and have less of the bullshitting around, and more killing fake bodies. They also need to branch off into fictional characters as they've gotta be about out of vague concept warrior types. Iron Man v. Goku plz.

They should do Alien vs. Predator.

Yea I agree with you about that. They get into stupid arguments and shit, it is kind of dumb. I love how they're like "so and so, pirate expert". Fucking Pirate expert??? WTF

The best part of the show is when they hack the shit out of that fake gelly body.

I don't doubt that there's guys that research the weaponry or whatever, but some of those guys take it too serious. They act like they time traveled from the 1400s or whatever and the analysis is personally insulting them.

I would also like to see a christmas episode where they had kids hitting the gel bodies with those big Hulk fists and He-Man swords or something to prove which holiday toy is superior. Laughing

I'd go with the He-Man sword. Those Hulk gloves are all bark and no bite.

YES!!!

I agree 100%. The show is 30 minutes of trash talk. Also the guy who narrates sucks.

I also agree on the shit talking parts. Everything else about the show is good though. The first one I saw was Viking vs Samurai and I thought it was teh ghey, but they had a marathon on a few weekends ago and it was actually pretty good.

Pirates got their time on the show, Ninjas went up against Spartans (Spartans won btw). Hawk, you might be interested to know they've also done Spetsnaz vs. Green Berets, but I missed the final outcome.

A Spetsnaz shot the last Green Beret in the neck using his knife that is also a projectile to kill him and win the battle.

The problem with this was that the Green Berets have a lot more behind the scenes assistance. Computerization of military weaponry and intelligence would never allow a battle to occur the way it did.

I hate this show. The only shows I hate more are One Thousand Ways To Die and Manswers. They're all part of this thing that I like to refer to as the Lowest Common Denominator.

I watched the first episode, realized it was lame and a time waster then moved on.
