I have nothing. There is nothing i can say that can comment any further on this. But i'll try . . .

Spoiler: it was all a dream, so, is that why there were so many stereotypes, because Wood's character was dreaming all that shit and his mind is of an adolescent. Honestly, the only good thing about this movie is it has a decent poster:

AND, Ebert tore the shit out of it:

It looked more like a low budge direct to DVD movie with an actual budge and Reiner's kids writing the script.

I mean, it's one of those movie i think only kids with no sense of good humor would enjoy. And on top of that, the movie had the nerve to have John Ritter . . . it's still too soon for me Crying. Hell, it had the nerve to have some big names and still not being able to do anything good with them (at least the Nod to Sienfeld seemed to have structure . . . by accident.)

Reiner, i guess everyone needs to have a flop and North was yours.

I saw it as an 11 year old kid when it first came out, I also saw the TV review by Siskel and Ebert after I had seen it.

That being said, it was a bad movie, but it was ok for a Saturday afternoon showing in late July 1994. It was just entertaining enough to keep you from walking out but still very stupid with a ridiculous plot.

I stil remember that Amish scene "Floor It" and that " HOWDEE NORTH".

Gah, whenever I think "Rob Reiner", I think of his depiction in South Park.

Wait, George and Elaine were in that movie?! Wow, I forgot a LOT about this film! For some reason, the only thing I remembered was Bruce Willis in a bunny costume. And I thought the main character was played by McCully Culken (sp?) until this review reminded me it was Elijah Wood.

I actually liked it when I was younger (I was like 4 or 5, I think), but this review makes it look stupid as hell! I guess it isn't necessarily a classic.

I remember seeing previews fir this back in 1994 but never saw the movie itself, I'm also glad I didn't see it.
