Kojjiro! thanks for reporting. Unfortunately all of this seems very boring and completely predictable.
FF14 as an MMO is a terrible idea. They should remove the numbering system and make just a FF MMO that gets updated.
A resident evil MMO for the PSP is a terrible idea since it is a limited system. A game like that that is cross platform would sale like crazy, why limit to just a dying handheld?

Well, actually I got my info wrong - it's not an MMO. Capcom's been pretty light but says it's a 'completely different game'
Sony also announced some older PS1 titles for the PS3 which I've been looking forward too. The only things i'm really jazzed about are Lost Planet 2 and the new MGS

Sony is going to allow the PS1 games to run on the PS3 or you have to buy the games as PS3 version?

I must admit, as a Nintendo fanboy, I was pretty impressed by Sony's new motion control solution.
The 1:1 looked pretty dead on.

It's releasing everything in it's greatest hits collection over the PSN.

It's pretty smart on there part actually. A lot of people really missed out on the PS3 - it had a relatively short lifespan compared to other consoles. There's also a chance sony might bring over some japanese and euro releases like nintendo's done with the Wii. Another thing is a lot of my old PS1 games don't work anymore - so I'm looking foreward to it.

I think if the most exciting news sony as a company can muster is re releasing it's back catalog then sony underperformed

If you really think about it, the great titles released are very rarely announced or demo'd out at E3. No More Heroes (the first one) wasn't, neither was MadWorld or any of the Yakuza games. (all great games) E3 is in particular the big news, any big projects a company has and it's few star titles. I think the companies all kind of conflicted this year, especially Microsoft and Sony. Both companies are approaching having almost entire cross platform libraries, with an MGS for the 360 and Lost Planet 2 coming out on the PS3.

And don't forget, E3 lost a lot of cred. If they're able to rebuild it's cred, companies will be more inclined to make big announcements there.
And Lost Planet 2 will be awesome.

I just read about the new MGS: Peace Walker game and I'm estactic! I also read about a new Console Game MGS:Rising Which will feature Raiden as the main character (great more emo-ness) but he'll be the Cyborg Ninja supposedly. Looks like I'll have to hang on to some loose cash from working a fuck-ton hours for these two games. Is there any word on the LE versions of these games?

I definitely feel that E3 restored a majority of its cred. Overall the big 3 had fantastic presentations.
