I wanted to be a sydlexian vet, but my teacher told me to have more realistic goals, so now I want to be a Marine Biologist.

I definitely think that the less frequently an avatar/signature changes the more likely a person is to become identified with a community. I firmly believe that a physical representation of a person's digital persona helps to put a perspective on one's posts before they are even read. This can have positive or negative results, but the impact is real.

Oi, that probably will never happen with me, I'm too much of a victim of changes. Although, there's always my title and maybe sig.

What do the Marines need biologists for? Oh well, good luck and Semper Fi. Very Happy

Oh, but hadn't you heard Knyte? The US doesn't engage in that anymore. We fight to prevent it. That's why I was so confused. Sad

Yeah, we prevent others from using our idea first!

Also, the US doesn't torture prisoners.

We're good guys, and would never ever break any of the accords of the Geneva Conventions. No sir.

You also don't torture either. Waterboarding is good times.

I should be safe too. I finally built up the balls to frequent this forum again, which might improve my chances at vet status.

If you have to create a thread like this, you're not a vet. Honestly, I don't even know if there's a time requirement. The biggest thing is the quality of your posts, starting from the day you join the forums. Honestly, here are the people are consider regulars or veterans or whatever on this site (Also, I don't know where the term "regulars" came from, because I haven't heard that on this site at any point. Anyway, in order that they registered:
Syd Lexia
Spanky McCracken
Valdronius
Tebor
Kubo (Although with the avatar change, I often miss his posts at first)
greeneyedzeke
SamanthaMcPoopenstein
Dr. Jeebus
lordsathien
Rycona
Mr. Bomberman
Black Zarak
DarkMaze
Chrisby
Cattivo
Char Aznable
RobotGumshoe
Ross Rifle
Knyte
Douche McCallister

It's worth noting Douche is the only person on that list that's past the first 3 pages on the memberlist. Also, it's worth noting that frequency of posts or number of posts isn't terribly relevant as some of those people post EXTREMELY infrequently, some haven't posted in at least a year, and some have barely 100 posts in over 3 years.

Also worth noting is that there are some people who I will NEVER consider veterans no matter how long they stay or how much they post because of terrible first impressions:
Hacker
Togdor or whatever the fuck he's called now
Jack Slater
blkplaguelmc
Kin 2 Goldfish
SevereFlame

I would worry less about whether or nor you're considered a veteran and just focus on being the best damned sexual harassment panda you can be. Post intelligently and other forum members will respect your posts, even if they disagree with you.

Nuh uh, i'm cooler.

Why did you need to quote a 33 line post to reply with a sarcastic and poorly constructed sentence using bad punctuation and capitalization?

To demonstrate why I put him on that list.

Man you guys get me every time.

I figured a stupid answer was suitable for a stupid list. I didn't know that people got singled out and put on lists here. I'll try not to let it bother me so much though. Very Happy
