Technically 0 for me since there were two tests I missed out on taking in college due to an illness (mononucleosis), but I made up for those later on and did well. One was for national government in political science, and the other was for college algebra.
As for lowest test score of a test I did take, it was somewhere between 35-45% (I'm thinking it was 35%). It was on a geography test in freshman level high school. I enjoyed the subject of geography in general and I did study ahead of time, but I had no idea I would have to MEMORIZE THE NAME AND LOCATION OF EVERY SINGLE AFRICAN NATION WHILE FILLING IN THE BLANKS MYSELF. I retook the test and made an 80% that time, and I was content with the score since it was passing.
It wasn't the hardest test ever, but its surprising difficulty killed me on it.
But anyway, what about you?

Technically, a 0 on a spanish midterm this semester. Skipped it because I forgot about it and didn't study.
On a test I actually took, a 25 on a math test (also this semester) because math is the bane of my existence.

30% on a Geometry test in high school because my calculator was set to work with Degrees instead of Radians.

I had a bunch of pretty awful grades in Geometry. No wonder it took me until my senior year of high school to get through that subject.

Hmmmm...I'm not sure of percentage, but I know I've gotten an F on a test before, in college pre-Calculus. Almost got a D in the whole class because of that, but thankfully the prof counted a C starting from 65%; I ended the class with a 66%. Usually I'm against that kind of curving, but holy crap did it save my ass in that case. Other than that, I know I got Ds on math tests in high school and middle school. Not a ton, but more than one.
I know it sounds like I didn't study math at all lol, but I actually did. It just never seemed to matter how, when, where or for how long I studied, I always ended up doing badly somehow, usually do to misunderstanding, or stupid things like adding wrong or inverting numbers. *sigh*.

30% on a sex ed/anatomy test in 6th grade. Why the fuck would I, as a twelve year old, care where a uretha or a Vas Deferens are?
Second lowest grade I ever got was a "D" on a test third term of world history freshmen year of high school. The test was composed entirely of two essay questions, and unlike previous tests, he didn't really hint at what the possible essay questions would be. So of course, one of the essay questions was something I hadn't really studied at all because it was boring and I didn't think he'd ever ask it. Still managed a B+ for the term.
Other than that, rarely got worse than a B- on anything.

48% on the fundamentals of Java programming. I don't care what an object is, just let me program stuff.

How bad is Java in comparison to C++? I took a C++ programming class in the spring of this year, but I dropped it because it was a bitch for me. I had less trouble in Calculus I!

I found Java and C++ to be very similar, but I'm no CS guy.

Yeah, I suck at both computer science and programming in general. I'm inept when it comes to computers in general, so that doesn't help. The class I was taking is an introductory course intended for freshmen to take, yet it's the hardest class I've taken so far at my university.

I got something like 10% on a Social Studies Final (multiple choice). I answered in the manner of ACDC the whole way through.

I'm not sure the exact score but all I can tell you is that I failed it miserably, it was a math test of course.

On a Trigonometry test last semester, I got a 1/200. On the top of the paper, my teacher wrote "+1 SYMPATHY POINT".

The lowest of a test I took? Probably in the eighties, because I was always great about tests. It's just the homework that would hurt me. I fucking lived for tests.

I've made my fair share of bad test scores. My parents always got pissed at me because it wasn't a matter of my lack of studying, it was my lack of caring. I used to thoroughly read every text book given to me (Aside from Algebra) and within a month or so I'd know the subject material. However I allowed myself to actually care what others thought of me and took the silly things they said to heart. I spent most of my time sleeping when I could've been acing those bastards. In hindsight I should've had a thicker hide, however that's all in the past and since I've started going to college I've been making pretty good test scores.

C++ is a better language, but Java is a better learning tool. C++ has some shortcuts built into it which are great, but java is 100% object oriented, which makes it a lot easier to learn how object oriented programming works. When you get to use cin and cout for input and output, it makes it a little harder to understand how/why to creature your own functions. I learned C++ and did fine, but I didn't fully understand functions until I then learned Java.

35% on a medieval philosophy midterm. The exam was a 2 hour essay regarding the philosophy of medieval society, specific to a few core philosophers people.
I happened to disagree with the instructor's interpretation of the philosophers (which she did not shared with me until after the exam). I actually expected to get an A on the paper since I understood everything I had written about and was very active in the class. When I got the 35 in red with a big F on the paper... well, the blood began to boil.
I met with the professor after the class and we discussed the paper. She stated to me that "there is just no way that these people thought that way back then." Oh really? Were you fucking there, you stupid bitch?
I dropped the class and took another philosophy class the next semester. The teacher in the next class happened to be the chair of the department. I got an A in his class on the same fucking subject material. At the end of the term I brought him my failed exam and asked him what he thought of my answers. He told me that I clearly understood the philosophies and while he happened to agree with the other professor on her point of view, I was not wrong in my writings. I simply interpreted their actions and writings in a way that was different than the way they did. He told me that I should have probably gotten an A since I demonstrated a clear grasp of the philosophy and I never disputed facts from the time period.
That was the last class I ever took in college. Fuck that.
For me, I realized that if I have to do things other people's ways, I am going to get paid for it. I got a job and have never gone back to college.
Technically that very last part might not be true... I have worked at universities for 6 years now... but in IT.

Ahh good thread Dii, makes me feel a little bit better about myself.
Trig in general was the bane of my existence throughout highschool. I just had so much trouble getting a firm grasp over it.

Argh, the functions piss me off! As a matter of fact, my lack of understanding functions is what killed me on the second test in that aforementioned programming class. I read over chapter 6 in my book because it dealt with functions, but I didn't pay too much attention because I also needed to understand looping, if statements, etc. My techer actually said not to worry about chapter 6 because the test wouldn't go over functions very much.
Guess what? One of the very problems on that test counted for 15 points, and it dealt with FUCKING FUNCTIONS! I got a 50 overall on that test. The teacher said he'd drop my second test score if I got a higher score on the final, but I knew that wouldn't happen. I dropped that sinister course, and I'm taking it again next week for the first session of summer.
Thank God computer science isn't my major.

Same here, mate. I finally got a response from my calculus teacher from last semester in the spring concerning my final in Calculus I. I ended up with a C in the course, but I actually had either a high B or low A in the course initially because I was doing well. However, I made a 41 on the final (out of a 100) and the final counted for 20% of the course. It brought my overall grade down to a 78, 2 points shy of being a B.
FUCK!!!
But truth is, 41 is the lowest score I've ever made on a math test of any kind. Many other people (excluding the Chinese foreign exchange students) have gotten lower, so I guess I should be grateful. I'm still pissed at nearly getting a B, though.

The lowest grade I ever got on something worth as much as a test is a 5 out of 100, from when my geography teacher randomly decided in the middle of class one day that all the notes we took should be worth 100 points. (I don't take notes.) The lowest I ever got on an actual test? 86/100.
