I usually don't like attention posts, but I've been noticing the lack of conversation in my threads, and I'm wondering if its because people take a look at how long my post is and then turn away in disgust.

The only reason I stack so much in that first post just because I like to cover as many bases as possible, and God forbid somebody brings up a stupid counterpoint I can have an answer to it right then and there. But still, if nobody's gonna post because my posts are too long, then... Sad

Nah. What you do and the way you type not only make sense, but is the only truly sensible option. Too many people on this forum type a sentence reply and we spend a page or so asking him to elaborate then the entire thread gets off topic. You keep threads on topic and you state what you came to say in a way that is precise and leaves no room for us to question you on your meaning. If only more people would do that very thing I think internet discussions will be much, much simpler.

I think some people just have a talent for long running threads.

Part of it is you have to leave a thread nice and open for people to really post anything, or leave room for an interesting tangent/memestorm.

If its any consolation I like your threads.
