Since I have lots of time to waste this weekend, I was thinking about playing and recording a Final Fantasy walkthrough. I need a party.
I'll let the boards pick them.
Pick me a class and a (four-letter) name. I'll pick the four that most interest me and use them. Your reward will be a mention in the video comments, along with a link of your choice.
This will be a walkthrough, not a challenge. Any attempts to try and screw me over will be ignored.

F: TANK (or FITE)
BB: BRUCE (or CHUK, if you prefer Mr. Norris)
WM: ALBO (short form of the latin for white)
BM: NUKE (because that's what they do  )
I know its a simple "beginner" party, but I also think it gives you the best chance to illustrate the most of what FF has to offer, and since this is a walkthrough you'll want to give people the best illustration of as many game mechanics as you can. You can use almost all weapons and armor thanks to the fighter, demonstrate unarmed combat with the BB (also show off the BB glitch), plus you have the chance to show off the most spells with your WM/BM combo. (and with how lousy spell charges are, and how underpowered spells in general are in the game, I think it offers more of a challenge than the F/BB/TH/RM party that would be my second choice for a walkthrough.)

It depends on the spells, though the only real useful ones are the elemental spells, the Harm spells, the healing spells, Exit, Warp, and Nuke.
Red Mages are really, really bad in the later game, too.
Oh, and a secret: The White Mage is supposed to be male. Take a look at the NP guide.

i wish i fucking knew what any of this shit was. im totally clueless with all the technical final fantasy stuff. i had a bunch of roms downloaded for like GBA,snes, and nes. i wanted to pick a FF to play for my first time. i picked tactics for GBA and shut it off within the first 20 minutes and decided i should prob start from the beginning. that game is defnitally not for beginners.

White Mage - ABNO - Giving joint credit to SoldierHawk and Chile Guy here. Neither of them came up with that name, but they had that concept, and the only sticking point was on spelling. So I made up my own.
Black mage - KAOS - Andrew Man
Please let me know what links you want as a credit (I'm pretty sure I know Syd's), and if you have a youtube channel tell me so I can point to that as well.
BTW, I find it very interesting nobody suggested a red mage.
