For some reason, I can't get sound on YouTube anymore. Not on featured videos, not on UGC, not on copyrighted material that shouldn't be on it in the first place. What the fuck?

Tried both IE7 and Firefox. Checked the volume. Have sound on every other fucking website, Windows Media Player, BS Player, WinAmp, and everything else.

maybe try uninstalling your flash player and reinstalling the latest version?

Apparently it has something to do LAME MP3 codec. I get a pop-up about it every time I try and watch a video.

Syd, you probably have a lot of crap installed. Time to clean up the shit you don't use anymore.

I uninstalled all my codec packs, ran a registry scan, and installed the newest version of K-Lite. That worked.

I've had YouTube do this to me also but it fixes itself if I restart Firefox.
